Evolving Rings don't stack.

Granted, one of them is a level 1 ring. I have no idea why it worked for me, but just showing you can do it with the level 1 ring.

Maybe it's just the attack rings they bothered with.
Might be able to wear 3 level 0-7 rings with a 17, for what that's worth (could be a good bit of speed, the other stats aren't that significant).
