I've heard that the maximum bonus attack you can get from Maker is 11. +3 from Adv Diamond, +3 from Adv BC and +5 from Stimulator. Then again, I've also heard that using Maker itself also grants a chance to +3 as well.
I always thought that the max was +11, but seeing http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/yy137...isrock.jpg made me wonder.
Max should have been (95+3+3+5)=106.

But stimulators don't add attacks. I've forged +5 above average weapons and I never used any stimulators.

This is false according to Cyanne's ancient statement. It turns under average into average instead of killing them altogether (and consequently raising the chances for better stats).

What I meant was stimulators would "+5" attack such that the item has maximum possible clean attack. Then add in the gems. So you take the average attack for a specific weapon and add 11 to the attack which would supposedly be the maximum clean attack available via maker.
New questions!
1. Highest over-average weapon attack on a weapon would be? (Without make/using stims only) I assume it's average+5.
2. Does using Maker itself grant any possibility of bonus attack? Assuming items always receive the maximum(?) bonus of +11 from being over-average with adv diamonds+bc

You can get +5 without Stimulators but chances would be lower if you don't use a stimulator.

This is, again, not true.
The chance of you getting +5 out of [-5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5] is the same as that of [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Hmm.. Another question.
If I were to maker a piece of armour and use black crystals, the armour can have attack bonuses, right?

Black crystals have only ever yielded me Magic Attack on some shoes I was making. Sad thing was...they were warrior shoes....
I dont think that you can get attack on armor, if you could then we would see crazy attack...tops...or bottoms...

Proof that it forces a neg value positive? Far as i'm concerned it makes the range 0-5 rather than (-5)-5.

Doesn't the stimulator make the item go between the stat ranges? For example, the ATT from a Nisrock can range from 90 to 100. So 95(average)+5(Stimulator)+3(Diamond)+5(Black Crystal). That would make it 108.
