Explorer's durability weapons...
#1
So I made a sin, just because they level fast early on, I wanted to test them out + get ring. And then, I received the explorer's claw weapon, which is pretty freaking epic for a guy broke like me. I had read around that it costs like a mill to repair the weapon's durability points, but it actually costs like, 1.2k to repair 2x%.

So yeah. Is there a catch I'm not aware of here? The weapon doesn't show any expiration date. So are they permanent? I mean, 23 att un"scrolled" with 7% critical sounds too good to be true/permanent A a few thousands to repair the weapon is nothing. -_-

If they are permanent...
brb, changing pants, and making a mage. o_o;

They are permanent, and they reduced the prices to repair. The milions you heard of were apparently upon release... But only the Dragon rider ones. So yeah, it's a good weapon/overall.

However, they aren't tradeable at all, not even with platinum karma scissors. And can only be scrolled with tablets...

Yeah, they cost about 10k to recharge 100%. >_>

And tablets suck, I tried one on my magician's weapon 1st slot failed. :x I guess that's the catch - you can only use cursed scrolls (60% chance to break) on them, none of the regular scrolls.

So it's 40% success rate, 100% chance to break upon failure?

Just want to know because MSEA may also get these weapons along with the balance patch.

It does not list the success rate (says it varies). It's 60% break on failure. The one I used failed w/o breaking.

@ above, so you can actually train with them now? Or is it still too much of a pain to be repairing them every few hours.

Clarification: The price didn't change, meaning still the ridiculous 420k~ meso/ 1%
