Explorer's durability weapons... - Alex123123 - 2010-06-25 So I made a sin, just because they level fast early on, I wanted to test them out + get ring. And then, I received the explorer's claw weapon, which is pretty freaking epic for a guy broke like me. I had read around that it costs like a mill to repair the weapon's durability points, but it actually costs like, 1.2k to repair 2x%. So yeah. Is there a catch I'm not aware of here? The weapon doesn't show any expiration date. So are they permanent? I mean, 23 att un"scrolled" with 7% critical sounds too good to be true/permanent A a few thousands to repair the weapon is nothing. -_- If they are permanent... brb, changing pants, and making a mage. o_o; Explorer's durability weapons... - Alloy - 2010-06-25 They are permanent, and they reduced the prices to repair. The milions you heard of were apparently upon release... But only the Dragon rider ones. So yeah, it's a good weapon/overall. However, they aren't tradeable at all, not even with platinum karma scissors. And can only be scrolled with tablets... Explorer's durability weapons... - Stereo - 2010-06-25 Yeah, they cost about 10k to recharge 100%. >_> And tablets suck, I tried one on my magician's weapon 1st slot failed. :x I guess that's the catch - you can only use cursed scrolls (60% chance to break) on them, none of the regular scrolls. Just want to know because MSEA may also get these weapons along with the balance patch. If so, -hugs machlear + tempest- Edit: just checked, drpq weps price the same Explorer's durability weapons... - Stereo - 2010-06-26 Hanabira.Kage Wrote: It does not list the success rate (says it varies). It's 60% break on failure. The one I used failed w/o breaking. @ above, so you can actually train with them now? Or is it still too much of a pain to be repairing them every few hours. Clarification: The price didn't change, meaning still the ridiculous 420k~ meso/ 1% |
