Can it really be five years since Global MapleStory launched? It seems incredible, but it's really been a whole half-decade since the world was introduced to the wonders of Maple World. In that time though, not group of people has worked harder at turning MapleStory into what it is today than our faithful GMs. These are the people who toil anonymously in the treches day in and day out making Maple World a safe and fun place for everybody. For the Fifth Anniversary, we wanted to give the MapleStory GMs a chance to share some of their own special Maple memories.

"My experience with MapleStory became exciting when I found the Cash Shop. I discovered pets in MapleStory and found that I had to own all of them. I am now the proud owner of 24 pets, including a Black Dragon. That took me a long time to acquire, by the way. I also purchased countless Cash Shop Surprises to try to get a Pink Bean pet and a Weird Alien. Unfortunately I was never able get either of those. "I play MapleStory because it's an easy game for someone who doesn't really play many computer games like me. My favorite aspect about MapleStory is the items that I can dress my characters in that are sold in the Cash Shop. Call me a girly girl, but I like how my characters can attack monsters with style. My character outfits are what makes my characters fierce. When new items are introduced in the Cash Shop, I'm the first to get them. "My favorite MapleStory memory is a GM event called, "Will the Real GM Please Stand Up?" All the GM’s danced together as a group with our signature emote face at the end shouting "Jazz Hands!" I was personally in Amoria after our dance taking screenshots with the players, and we had our own "Jump Party." So my first experience in MapleStory was me happily questing on the island and players around me start shouting, "Hacker!" I was trying to figure out where the hacker was, but no matter how much I looked around, I couldn’t see one! Then I realized I wasn’t taking any damage. Whoops! I wonder if they know about the glitch how you can spam someones whisper. Whoops!

That is my sentiment exactly! First thing I thought was, huh no raven eh?

Edit: This is just a lie anyways, like a single GM freaking payed for any pets or crap from CS, furthermore
they straight up stole this line from basil and the likes:

LOL now that I think of it that must be raven, since he couldn't talk about his REAL favorite experience.

Good lord...I counted at least 2 spelling errors and 7 grammatical errors, and I didn't bother finishing every GM post. Aside from issues with basic English that are absolutely unacceptable for public statements made by a multi-million dollar corporation that tries to prove they're "big time," the fundamental sentence structure and flow is comprable to that of 5th graders. Ugh. Only Cheezpuff's response was well-written.

...I don't think this is as much as an official statement as much as an "attempt" to portray reminiscence of the GM's in the post.

Regardless of whether the message is supposed to be funny or serious, any public correspondence a mutli-million dollar, multi-national corporation has should be conducted with the utmost profession, which Nexon fails to do every single time. "Being funny" or "trying to connect to the lay" isn't a reason to gloss over editing. When was the last time you saw McDonalds, ABC, Nintendo, or any other large corporation, in specific instances of "funny public correspondence" "forget" to edit their message? Never. No prominent world corporation releases a public statement without proofreading it a million times to ensure it follows all rules and regulations of whatever language it is written. They do this because it's a sign of careless neglect/laziness/unprofessional conduct to communicate with your customers with poor usage of their native tongue.

I know many believe that "Nexon-bashing" is inappropriate considering the "difficulties of maintaining a perfect MMO," but keep in mind that suspicions are raised towards customer service and other issues if they can't even bother to edit their statements to the public. This is how business is done, people. Either shape up or come in last. Luckily for Nexon, they've chosen option three: design an addictive product that keeps customers coming back for more regardless of your professional conduct.

I'm not denying it's bad for anyone's image to have poor grammar in anything released for the public. I'm just saying it seems that Frozenite was overreacting to such minuscule errors, when you consider the topic ("article/news/thread made by hime/etc...") in question was nothing significant.
