my sister's friend and I were texting about some pomegranate that happened the other day(no detail k) and somewhere in those texts she said "but you act too nice!".

not sure if any of you are psychological pros or anything, but is that meant in a positive or negative way?

Usually, it ranges from: a very bad thing to a not necessarily good thing (but not a bad thing).

It needs context. But when said in that matter, it's almost never a positive thing.

usually, by saying "you act too nice!", you mean the person is too kind with others and don't get the same response back. So it's a nice thing, at least how I interpret things.
