So here's the idea. In light of all these hacking attacks, I don't think a single PIN is enough. A 2nd layer of protection is probably best.
For those that don't know what the Goblin Pad is, it's basically the PIN system for Maple, but implemented in-game. You need to control with your arrows a goblin into huts with the correct number until you have a 4 digit PIN. This will be activated whenever you logged on and need to buy/sell/trade anything that involves mesos/items, adding skill points/AP, using Legendary Spirit or Item Maker, even buying/using CS items or selling/buying things in MTS. In other words, you need to enter it every time you log on. Sounds troublesome, no? But the kicker is if you enter the PIN wrong 3 times, that's it. You're kicked off the account until the next day (at least that's what I assume). I don't know how hacklable the Goblin Pad is, but given you need to actually move the goblin into the huts instead of clicking should make it tricky, to say the least.
