Well, the delay's done client-side (right?) so they can't fix it completely with a server check; I guess they just stopped you from disconnecting on the most recent server check.

I can't spam Wind Piercing for more than about 10 seconds :f6: Skills stop working once they hit a certain number of animations while standing in one spot, no? Maybe it's just me.

But yeah, the fix is server-sided. We can spam all we want, but the game only registers a hit as often as Wind Piercing's normal spam speed is.

Can't macro Wind Walk + Wind Piercing either; Wind Piercing goes too fast and animates twice, stopping the macro from starting again if you hold the key.

Yah it has skill lock like all the other skills except Hurricane and Rapid Fire. Eventhough its not actually doing that many shots per second, we still get skill locked.
I went to newties to try it out. Held it down for a few sec and it only took out small portion of the hp. You can also use normal arrows to see that its not actually firing that many shots. Turn off soul arrow, hold it down for few sec and you'll be able to see it only consumes 1 arrow every sec or so.
It would be awesome if they were actually that speed for both wind shot and wind piercing.Shine Improved hurricane for the lack of sharp eyes Tongue1

If on server's side you're doing normal attacks, how come other people around you can see the godly speed? Do not compute.

because everyone has the same client, so they all see the client-sided nodelay attacks, this happened when hackers had the same nodelay edit and could see each others attacks

Hmmm.. makes sense. How about other cases like damage being differently shown? Berserk glitch for example, or other client-server disagreed instances: miss kills, PowerKnockback..

It doesn't matter if everyone has the same client, if an effect is client-sided, only you can see it.

If people are accusing him of hacking, then it's most likely not.

I've done some extensive observations and noticed 2 things:
  1. The animation is normal on other people's screens
  2. The damage dealt isn't shown every hit that makes contact. There were moments when the archer wasn't shooting Wind Pierce on my screen, but the BF showed KB animation on my screen despite no dmg was shown on my screen.

Conclusion? It probably deals with itself between the user's client and the servers (representing other users), without properly displaying all the results. I'm guessing, yes, it in fact is dealing more damage than it's supposed to be.

EDIT: Upon review and further observation, the KB frequency on Typhons seemed to fit the Animation frequency on an alien screen, which means the damage registered on the Server shows no abnormal increase. It's only a visual bug on the client's side.
