Afff I just hope ther range on Double Fire goes up over time or something because it is just wayyy too short as it is now.

Anyone know what factors attribute to gun attack range?

It does. It's based on the level of the skill, and goes up by 15 every two levels. At max level you can shoot almost as far as a sin. I dunno if the normal attack range ever goes up. I'm hoping mastery affects it, but I dunno. Half of your skills increase in range over time; it's an interesting mechanic.

I am enjoying it actually. I expected to play it for an hour or two and then get bored, and I've found my gunslinger to be pretty damn fun.

I made a Brawler a few hours after the patch. Right now, I'm level 40. I've been CPQing for 10 levels and it's so pineappling fun. The new skills for Brawlers you get around level 34 work together so fluidly, it makes them so fun. The only thing I don't like is tha fact that there's a 1-2 second delay after Double Upper, Screw Punch and Backspin Blow. =[

And, the Barrel skill = epic win.

I'm enjoying my Gunslinger. But I'm going to get him to level 30, just like I did on my Cleric and my Normal Dex Assassin, until my Hybrid Crusader is level 80 (That does not mean I'm gonna quit her, but I'm gonna take a break from her. Yeah, I'm a Fighter Expert). I only need 1 more level until I am able to do Ariant PQ (which I'm gonna be doing from level 20 to 30) due to Thanksgiving event and mass Pirates.

I set my STR and DEX to 36 and played with lv 1 Fist/SK/DoubleShot and compared. I loved how fast Gunslingers are, so went there. <3 I won't need to add STR till lv 40. ;D

i just got my lvl 20 gun... and sold the lvl 15 one right away... so i dunno... i haven't really noticed anything but... does the "fast" speed actually shoot faster with double shot?

i haven't noticed too much of a difference... OR it's already fast enough that 20spm more won't be very noticeable

it's taking a LOT of getting used to. i've only trained a cleric, so i'm used to low pot costs and really fast leveling. >_>
it's kind of hard, but i'm not giving on this like i am.. every other class i've tried to level past 50.
meow.

omgsh.. gunslingers are so fun.
i think i might forget about my brawler and play that instead, LOL.

Yay! made it to brawler =)

enjoying this so much more than farming etc peices and black crystal ores on my Bowmaster... But that character will always be my favorite. Pirates won't replace him =(

But things are about to get a whole lot more fun now that i have access to MASSIVE LEVELING via coin farm with my cousin =) enough to get past the levels of max hp increase and i'm set to wreak havoc on cpq >=)

When Pirates were announced I told myself "I WILL NOT MAKE A PIRATE. I WILL RESIST THE TEMPTATION"
When Khaini was first out, I said "I WILL NEVER MAKE A CHARACTER OUTSIDE OF BERA"

So, Yeah, I'm having a ton of fun on my demethos gunslinger.
I keep trying to use Dash on my Hunter >.>

Ran into the exact same problem with my Demethos 'Slinger. Got to about lvl 20 and sudden;y I can barely afford pots, never mind proper equips. So I made a warrior on Demethos, and I'm even having trouble with him.

Honestly, part of it is the increased EXP. You spend half as much time grinding, and thus half as much time collecting mesos and items to sell.

A lot of people I've heard plan to leave Demethos when the 2x is over, but I plan on staying. Here's hoping it will get better!

I've changed my mind. No, I'm not enjoying pirates. Pirates has brought out every noob in the game, and nearly all of them are instant KSers. (who then whine if you actually start outkilling them) Since I've been on my Page, every pirate I've met has had complete disregard for common courtesy that existed prior to pirates coming out. It sucks, and I cannot wait for the novelty to wear off and most of them quit.

And is there a tactical advantage to jumping around while using Double Shot? It seems like just a major distraction to everyone else on the map to me.
