So, finally pirates have been released.Sp how have you been enjoying ur pirates?
Personally i made both gunslinger and brawler(bcz of hell lot a confusion of what to make)and i think i gonna go with gunslinger(can change any time XD) for a change from melee.

And man they are amazingly fast........I am completely enjoying em.

I've made a Gunslinger so far. It is FUN to play with them, and the 2x EXP is certainly making leveling up a breeze right now, but they are costly. I am completely broke. I may have to make a warrior or brawler on this server just to round up some quick mesos.

It certainly is possible to play an unfunded Gunslinger, but at lvl 15 I couldn't afford the equips, and here I am about to hit lvl 20 and I'm still completely broke. Those Mana potions go quick.

Quite true......But that doesnt come in the way of fun!!!

Im enjoying it very much even though there is a large NOOB KS WAR at the hunting grounds. And mana potions dont go that quick...

Double fire is the fastest attack in 1st job. It does kill your mana supply >_>.

Im level 18 Slinger and all my pots come from quests and such and I have enough to last a while 0.0.

What are you training on? Obviously that affects how fast pots go. Oh, and the real noob KS war was yesterday when Demethos opened up and EVERYONE was trying to get the boxes for Pio's quest.

double shot is fastest attack in first AND second job... even maybe 3rd...

but it's hella weak...

Hell yeah im enjoying it. I'm only lvl 4x and I already have to combo together my attacks (Brawler). I usually do screw punch -> sommersault kick , turn around, elbow attack -> sommersault kick -> repeat. It's fun lol. I train at target dummies, and it's nice to have a night flat ground to train on. If there's an incline, screw punch will push the monsters up it, but your infighter won't be pulled with them.

I'm using Gunslingers atm. They're fun to play with but as Trystan pointed out, they're costly Gunslinger or Brawler (all the pirate armors are overalls thus worth more). In total, I wasted like 50k while training my slinger.
Gunslingers damage is horrific in the beginning but the speed of Double shot pretty much makes up for it and that's what makes it fun and yes it DOES kill ur mana supply fast as Pikachu said.

I'm really enjoying my Brawler at the moment. Just the way I punch things in the face and round house kick them makes it so much more AWESOME! Overall, classes have their flaws but they are over shadowed in this case with pure coolness of the class.

I had my heart set on a brawler months before pirates came out, but the day before the patch I realized that a gunslinger's style was just so much more fun I don't mind training longer to level as long as I'm having fun

As for the potion discussion, I used about 90 Blue Potions in about 10-15 minutes at Jr. Cactus.

My gunslinger is a lot of fun so far. I was planing on just using clean equips and stuff until 50, but now since i know small amounts of upgrades and add a lot of damage, i scrolled my overall and gun, plus bought a ton of 12 atk pots.

What level are you training while training at jr cactus? I tired that around lvl 19 and it took so long to kill each one, plus octos and blue mushrooms in kerning were so much faster

I started at level 21 and it takes me like 2-4 hits to kill one. I only tried them for like 15 minutes but it wasn't that bad in my opinion. I also used 5 att pots, I'm going to buy some 12 att pots when I go train later.

Yes, I am. I leveled a few times without even noticing my EXP.

Yes i really enjoy the change of pace from ranged attacking =)

i ended up putting a few more points into dex so i could hit stuff. My pot supply isn't a problem due to exchange questing to 21 0_o

for those last 3 levels yesterday. Pure bliss =P

I am! I love how fast I am with a slinger. I just need to get used to dash...

it seems to me there's a LOT more slingers than brawlers o.O

Yes. Definitely. I just 2nd job advanced and I must say, Gunslinger has the FUNNEST 1st job experience I've had. Not the most MP pot friendly one though.
