I refuse to believe that's a girl, but still...never saw the appeal in knowing what the black wing generals look like. Every reaction to their debut is "alright, ok". It's only when those characters turn to bosses that those reactions turn to "WOW".

There's a new section under News called ''Secret Diary of Inkwell'' on the maple homepage.
This led me to believe that there will be sneak peeks posted in this 'diary' of new MapleStory content.

So far there is only one and this is it:

Why am I posting this here? A new Black Wings member Orca was revealed with the release of Mercedes.

Since Mercedes is a Hero character, I think we will see this new Black Wings member in Winter with possibly the Thief Hero character.

-don't know the story behind orca and mercedes but here's a shot at why "orca's sister's wearing black wings clothes-
upon the sealed-away of the black magician, the black mage, instead of sealing orca's sister (the thief legend) into ice, casts a spell on her so that she'd maintain the black wings and help them help revive the black magician. orca's sister, under the spell of the black magician, lures orca, her sister, into joining the black wings and make her 1 of the general. as the black mage's power comes closer to revival, the spell on orca's sister lessened and she started to remember her objective. the release of orca's sister, the thief legend, marks the close revival of the black mage.

I'm saying it's a part of the thief legend storyline.

Well Mercedes did note that Orca was weaker than the twin she was always with in the past when she fought her.
