Awww I wanted both legends to come out at the same time, or the pirate one to come out first.

Yea. Seems like the perfect patch for it. Pirate and Thief patch.
Maybe they'll release it too, just that there isn't any easter eggs in the data. :x

I'm more inclined to believe it will use a new kind of weapon, considering Cannon Shooter, Demon Slayer and Mercedes.

Someone here came up with the whole Heart, Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit thing with Aran being heart, Evan being soul, and Mercedes being Body. If this is indeed true then the thief would be mind or spirit.

i want the thief legend to have 3 weapon slots, dualclaws, and instead of throwing stars, he throws daggers, with both hands, for massive sixtuple throw + shadow partner. also has a pet snake, and several ninjutsu-movement skills that set up for other skills, also has the ability to stay in the air by throwing knives to the ground very fast.

I hope that this class actually has some unique skill design and has a slightly different role in parties, instead of being just another DPS class. We've had way too many of those as of late.

Something like my Time Keeper idea. Although admittedly, using claws or daggers is a terrible idea considering their already super inflated prices. I'd agree that a new weapon type is mandatory now. +1 for Chakram support, Chakrams would still work perfectly with the skill design.

Chakrams can be tossed (iirc).

Yeah, i like the idea of Chakrams, can be thrown and hit enemies twice, once on the initial throw and again as it comes back. It can also for example, ricochet through many enemies (kind of like a chain lightning sort of thing) and can be used as a Melee weapon too, for some Dual Blader/Mercedes like combos.

I'm liking the speculation in this thread. If that is what the thief pirate uses, i'm totally making one.

I really hope it isn't a Mercedes clone, that kind of mobility is great but argh if it has a hurricane-esque main attack I will be so sad.

I guess I support the Chakrams. They fit into my idea of a Thief legend that can use both a dagger for close combat and throwing stars for long range. Leaving the weapon aside though, I'm more concerned about their mobility moves. Like I said I hope they get some classic ninja moves, like jumping/walking over ceilings and walls, a kite to float through the map and use chains to pull/attack monsters (although this last one is nothing original anymore)..

Maybe aside from FJ they get a sort of tele move, not as good for moving as FJ but you can completly avoid the enemy.
