Deleted Characters Being Reviewed

Apparently, because it would also restore some *gasp* *shudder* illegitimate UAs. Some of them Cannoneers!

Roll back, delete the Cannoneers, leave the exploited UAs because honestly who gives a crap about them, it's not like they cause any harm at all. Problem solved.

Deleted chars = people need to make new chars = new equips = more cubing = more nx to nexon

Don't you see the tim's secret lab in the cs recently? They want you to remake your char and gave you 100% pots at only 3k nx and the new gachapon wheels gives end game clean equips at a small chance. Nexon is a genius like Steve Jobs, instead of letting people buy nx at will, they screw up so people buy more nx. They are even referencing to apple in their gm board echo smega.

So, here's an easy question: Does anyone know a non-warrior, non UA, with a Cygnus skill, who didn't get deleted?

I'm a level 200 marksman in Deme - got wind piercing on April 7th, raised it to level four on October 31st. I have a level 120 cygnus and its UE on the same account (the UE was created months ago but is still level 50, I just use it as a mule). Was NOT deleted. Two guildies, shad who got vampire around the same time that I got wind piercing and a sair who got his sharks a little earlier, were also not deleted.

0Kurosakio, 176 Yellonde Bishop. Level 36 Cygnus Knight on account. Gears was level 3 when the character was deleted. Gears had been leveled up last weekend (29th-30th). Gears acquired May 1st. Deleted.
SpearOfSoui, 200 Broa Dark Knight. 11x Cygnus Knight on account. No information on skill levels (working on that). Deleted.
SharkScreech, 71 Broa Outlaw (UA). 120 Cygnus Knight deleted. Sharks first acquired 30th-31st. Sharks leveled up to 3 on the 1st. Deleted.
bleve, 200 Galicia Fire/Poison Archmage. 120 Cygnus Knight present on account. Gears was level 3 when the character was deleted. Gears had been leveled up 31st October. Gears acquired June 2011. Deleted.
200 Demethos Marksman. 120 Cygnus Knight present on account. Piercing was level 4 when deleted. Piercing had been leveled up 31st October. Piercing acquired April 7th. NOT DELETED (this is the most interesting thing).
Aeyoth, 127 Kradia Paladin. Level 70 Cygnus knight present on account. Level 5 Soul Driver acquired April 25th. Deleted.
Biochip, 200 Scania Dark Knight. Cygnus Knight present on account (level unknown). Soul Driver was level 1 when character was deleted. Level 1 acquired in September.

There we go! I remembered you mentioning before that Mabinogi got rolled back by several days, but my guess was going to be four...

At least the proves that they keep saves for long enough to help out people whose accounts have been compromised (in a world where they didn't mind investing in customer support).

Either you're being sarcastic, you have rather low expectations of people, or my expectations are too high.

Wow. No company has ever impressed me this much. Seriously, how the hell do you manage this, not even thinking about the repercussions. Fu`ck sake people, if you still play after this...I mean seriously, NONE of you should tolerate this. What good is a game where the company is a bigger threat than the hackers. They warn us of exploitation, try to convince us such temptations only lead to punishment, yet every single, and I mean every single exploit has led to legitimates getting hurt more than hackers.

You guys can't play this game anymore, or any game by this company, you're just..ugh you're supporting crooks, incompetence and just sleezyness. I feel terrible for you guys, I honestly do, it would heartbreak me if my character, even though I no longer play, would go poof.

My last straw with them was 3 patches ago, or should we measure by exploits? Oh wait they are one in the same it seems, when will your last straw be?

Players who had their characters unintentionally deleted will have their characters returned after tomorrow morning's maintenance. This only affects players who had their characters unintentionally deleted. Neither Items nor mesos will be lost on these characters, but guild information and character links (such as passive skills for Blessing of Fairy) cannot be returned.

We apologize to our players who had to endure this and thank you for your patience. We will continue to investigate accounts that exploited new character creations and ban those accounts appropriately.

For some reason, this post made me giggle.

This is honestly frightening, though. I never got any UA skills, so I suppose I should be thankful I didn't, but this worries me because who knows what other damaging screwups Nexon can cause in the future?

Anyone remember the guild hack epidemic? While it wasn't Nexon's doing, their solution for such a damaging incident wasn't even a rollback; dozens of guilds vanished, yet they never considered the easiest solution. This is the same thing, but much worse. Especially worse, because not only did people lose years of hard work in one move, it was completely Nexon's fault this time.

I wasn't affected in the slightest but this just angers me so much regardless.

Without rollbacks we are either going to see funny duplicated igns and/or "lol rage" people who got their igns taken.

I'm expecting 2x in order to shut the pissed-off people up.
For me, 2x or whatever bullshit NX/MP compensation they give won't compensate wiping out all my hard work. plantain move, Nexon.

Actually it does, the character that was rollbacked when i deleted it, was the second highest character in that account and even thought the character was there, the blessiing of fairy appeared to be lvl 0 on the main mule.

i'm wondering precisely about that.

Honestly, what I expected them to do about it was nothing. They've let so many hackers stay, one more round is barely even noticeable.
What I would have liked them to do about it was ban the accounts involved.
What they did failed to match either one.
