Deleted Characters Being Reviewed

Wasn't CrazyNomad of Broa deleted, then Nexon recovered the character? Or am I remembering wrong?

maikon had his account name changed and world transferred. I was referring to TuffGai and Belisema, both were hacked/deleted. Nexon couldn't restore their characters, so they remade them in their GM map

Yep, I saw it coming from the very first time I heard of the exploit. It's like seeing a train...no, more like, seeing a planet-sized asteroid slowly drifting toward the earth.

No one here seems to realize -Hime- can't tell you anything other then the Devs know..she's already told me and proven the Devs tell her NOTHING they could tell her in the next patch there will be a new npc with a stick up his ass and then do something else.

That's because they were stupid enough to think that they'd get all of them by making a code that deleted any character with a UA skill without a level 120 Cygnus on the same account. At least, that's what it seems like. Everyone I know that had a character deleted told me that he/she had a UA skill, but not a level 120 cygnus, and my Paladin also fits that description.

Actually, I think that it is a big lie, when DBs were released they gave us some 30/50 lvls DB (don't remember the exact lvl) and i created mine, did the GFA quest and erased it, after that there was a rollback and my character was still there, unplayable because i couldn't use it but still there.

Hime claims that a database rollback won't bring back deleted characters.

Other people confirm that nexon has flat-out refused to restore hacker-deleted chars, claiming there is no way to recover them.

I really hope that's wrong. Rolling back single chars or accounts is impossible, but I really can't see why restoring the whole database to the way it was before the maintenance won't bring those chars back.

I'm not feeling very optimistic about this. I think my time to quit MapleStory is nearing.

The rollback is a lie, I remember when the server crashed during that 50% scroll glitch, I farmed and got some of the deleted chars back when the server was back up. They just don't want to rb anymore

Yes, it had level 3 Soul Driver.

I'm sure that part of the criteria was fine, but don't know what they did to exclude characters with Driver. Since evidently not everyone who had UA skills got deleted.
