Yeah I pre ordered it, so I'll get it on the 27th I refuse to wait in line on tuesday because that's when CoD is out LOL

All the other ones had about the same number really. All they did was make a person different forms count as one character. Example being normal goku counts as one super sayian goku counts as another character then they added some random ass people like cui

I'm sure they'll make an Ultimate Tenkaichi 2/3. For now it's amazing on the sheer fact they are basically using an entirely new fighting system, more faithful and also be able to cram in custom characters as well.

Also, hopes that they will keep the ORIGINAL DBZ music in the NA releases?

Its pretty dumb though. No playable Goten or Kid Trunks but you get Gotenks .__.

I just got goosebumps while watching this. I have been playing all the dbz games since they came out on the ps2. Will be getting this game

No, that's a game called Dragon Ball : Heroes or something along those lines. It's one of those Japanese-only arcade-type games.

Tenkaichi 3 only seriously had maybe 10 actual different types of characters. Most of them could easily have been passed off as reskins of each other with modified damage ratios

Well, that's true I guess. But the heart was there And I meant 60 in total (including every form). I think its around 30 or 40 base.

I hope this fighting system turns out well though, it looks great and I'd love it if they expanded on it. And I love the intro.

The 3 options that come up when someone does a special are counter options when someone tries to use a special. Those options come up when you have enough ki. The game is kinda strategy, and you win by obviously beating them up, but by also using supers and etc at the right time. Goku never threw 5 kame-ha waves one after another. He waits till the time is right! The 3 options are, going from least ki to most, is Guard, Dodge and Intercept. Guard lets you block I'm guessing half of the damage, Dodge is you dodge it lol, might be wrong on this one, and Intercept you pretty much say gdfo that weak pomegranate and counter attack them.

The part where you try to do your attack like flying kicks and ki blast during your combo (those green and purple circles that have the fighters about to uppercut each other or something o-o)has 2 options, 1 increase your ki (or spirit gauge not sure which) (spirit gauge is used for specials), or decrease your opponents. Whoever hits it faster wins, if you win, you continue with the combo, the opponent wins, they counter you from behind.

These are speculations of the system, so yea. If this changes your view, remember one thing. Create a Character mooooooode~
Girls were confirmed, and there are 6ish extra slots for created heroes, so you can try to create heroes that you wanted in the game, like Fasha and Uub. :3
They even have Uub's voice in the creater, lol.
It looks like there are still combos, it's just the testers suck. lol


Only thing you can hate about the game are the boss battles. They suck donkey pomegranate. Hopefully I am proven wrong. .-.

So it's not 3 slots for custom heroes, but actually 6, or they added 6 more slots so you can have up to 9 customer heroes?

And what's that about the last part? Are they really that cheap? If so, I know I'm in for a treat when I finally pummel the boss to 0 health.

[COLOR="#0000FF"]If you don't want to be spoiled with some of the characters, skip to around 12~13 seconds. It has 6 empty boxes. I'm guessing those are for custom characters. If not it would just look silly. I saw someone say in comments that this isn't all of them, just for gamecon. They either mean there are more, or just saying for the idiots that the ?'s are people.

EDIT: Boss battles aren't actually that bad. They have commands you have to input like God of War. I'm guessing they would get harder depending on difficulty. Now only if I could study my math like I do games. ;-;[/COLOR]

I was unsure about this at first now its a DO WANT. I was skeptical about rock paper scissors but it looks good. Looks like it deals a lot with meter control so incase that time comes when you need to dodge, block etc you can do it. Just looks like it's not button mashing but also trying to read what your opponent will do. But just one question, are you able to block like at all? Outside of the cut scenes.
