Congratulations video game developers, you made the first game I've wanted since super smash brothers melee. You also made the perfect DBZ fighting game.

The "Rock-Paper-Scissors" thing seems a bit cliched, but the game looks amazing otherwise.

I've been wanting to buy this since the first news of this game was released quite a while ago. It's too bad I don't own a PS3 or XBox 360. It looks so incredible...

i kinda don't like it, seems too rock-paper-scissor-y, since i saw that a lot, not to mention it's kind of slow-paced for a DB game.

The reason the game developers added that rock, paper, scissors crap is so that like, in most fighting games, you aren't stuck in a combo. I like it because it holds true of how they react in the anime, and yes character creation is pretty boss. You can take "skill sets" from other real characters, or playstyle, have your master has any character, and level it up through battling.

Okay, about the rock paper scissors thing, is it when you're about to do those skills in your combos like in tenkaichi etc? (attack attack, press Y (for wii on gc controller) and you do flying kicks, etc?). Not sure how that works, but everything else:

If this video is of any indication, we should see female Super Saiyans in this game.



Also, does anything think there will be a "WINNING" custom character that will be able to trounce even top tier fighters like Gogeta and Kid Buu? I can also see it now where online fighting soon devolves to who has the best cookie cutter set-up.

so... is there's something i'm missing? from the videos it looks like a fighting game that's entirely dependent on a rock-paper-scissors gameplay tied-in with pre-scripted combos and contextual commands. it doesn't seem to be much of an 'actual' fighting game. i'm not saying the game doesn't look fun, but it just seems a lot different than what i would expect

The only real problem I'm seeing is that the counters that involve teleporting behind your opponent and poking them in the back is that they're really choppy. There's no proper transition out of those moves.

Here's hoping they fix the teleport counters to be better? If not, I can see teleport counters being a death trap once online play gets really srs.

i've played Budokai but not Tenkaichi, and I've played Burst Limit. lol

So im probably going to be getting a PS3 just for this lol.
