Ideal PvP class for farming emblems.

Hurr, just found out a fast way to farm the 5-games quest.
4 people join an empty room, 1 leaves - 3 get a round completion. Takes about 30 seconds, so in 2 1/2 minutes you get 1 gallant emblem on 3 characters.

I've been doing this for awhile, or sitting in lower level PvPs since those seem to be the only ones with participants.

you are seriously comparing hacking to making my own party?

No, I'm comparing botting. You're using up public space in a way that is only to farm in a basically afk manner. In a lot of ways its more obtrusive than botters because at least with them theres at least 12 other channels for you to try. As we've already said, the way pvp works is, if the one group pvping "wants to be alone" then the odd one, or two, or three people out are effectively screwed out of being able to pvp until after Le Party Exclusive feels anyone else is entitled to play, especially if they're the type that angrily leaves if anyone interrupts them. If you were having an actual, competitive match with friends, I'd be a lot more understanding. If you want to farm the same thing you're effectively preventing me from getting, I have an excessively hard time giving a damn. Wait no that's not it; I actively want to undermine you.

i'll put it this way, if ME and Person X went to PVP, only me and person X would be in a room, we don't have enough people to PVP, nobody PVP's.

so i get tired of this crap, and ME, I, MYSELF, get friends A, B and C to come with me so that i can finally farm some points, then Person X comes in and starts attacking everyone, effectively taking from MY effort to get some points.

does that sound like me hacking, or person X ksing?

Let's say person X listens to your desire exclude him from the round. Person X leaves. And reenters, your round, without fail. He does this a few times till he realizes what everyone else already knew, that as long as you are there and your round isn't full, it is the round he and anyone else would enter. He can't play until you're done feeling like you should ever be able to conduct a private round with only whom you want.

It's fairly invariable he (or anyone else who comes by actually wanting to pvp) decides your arbitrary ownership of your entire server's pvp for a time just so you can farm is absurd, and does what people come to do in player vs player: attack other players. And I don't think it's the least bit unreasonable on their part.

Look, if this is merely because you're upset Nexon has failed to make a mode that enough people play regularly as in the example, I can understand. But it still stands that tying up pvp for 10 minutes will screw over at least a few people in even a small server like mine. You putting in "the effort" to get a few friends willing to afk for you to grind on doesn't win sympathy, and it certainly doesn't win ownership rights of the entire pvp mode.

i understand that, however my whole point is precisely the bolded part, before ascension, finding another person in PVP wasn't rare, it was a freaking miracle, let alone two, and yes, this in SCANIA, if at any point enough people to pvp normally would come in, i would actually pvp normally (i prefer it in fact, unless i'm fighting 3 battlemages, i earn more that way) problem is, nobody ever came, at most, one person, and that was it. said person, instead of getting more people to PVP, decided to KS on the people i arranged.

not to mention, it's not like i'm KSing ANYONE that comes in? say i make a party of WXYZ, and party ABCD had the same idea of coming to farm, we can very well go normal pvp mode, or simply WXYZ goes to one side of the map, and ABCD goes to the other, no need to fight for a map when it's us putting the monsters.

then again, the above NEVER happened. because, as i said, it was always one person that came in, at most.

note, this was pre-ascension, post ascension there's enough people to fill a room pvping, and although i still complain about how everyone dies in 2 hits, it's a lot more fun than farming.
