Nostalgic Gaming

I still play Shining Force to this very day, on a PS3 of all things..

Every start of the year, I have a habit of playing all of the Metal Slug games, Megaman X Collection and Super Mario World.

I'm playing Shining Force 2 currently too. It really picks up after going through the cave to north Parmecia.

I never beat SFII. I'd always get halfway through the game and stop playing. Mind you, this was WAY back in the day where the "Sega Channel" existed.

I used to religiously play this tank game on the SNES at my aunt's house back in 2002 or so. It had a map editor which I would use all the time.

I forgot the name of the game, but maybe some of you guys know. It had a speedy tank, a tougher tank, and things like that.

I would love to play it again!

A tank game with a map editor, thats a tough one. Maybe if you could give us some more hints?

And back to SF2, I am just glad when Peter stops flying around on his own and finally lets you tell him where to go.

Hate Slade. One of the best characters in the game, but he's so freaking weak until you level him like a boss, then he's OP as pomegranate! Too bad Peter destroys EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING!

Ross was easy to level IMO. Nino and Amelia can go DIACF, because I hate using those jobs / classes. I usually end up mass leveling / playing Axe / Sword wielders, because they tanky / speedy as hell lol.

Does anyone remember a game for Apple computers from the early 90s? You controlled this guy in a red hat and blue coat, and you had to run around a warehouse or something to collect parts for a kart/plane/blimp whatever to defeat this old crazy guy in a race. Usually you had to solve a puzzle dealing with science or math to get to the good parts.

I played it a lot in school during my free time and it was pretty decent from what I remember. The name escapes me though.

When I went to my friend's bday party, someone pulled out a copy of Pokemon Stadium and I watched some people play that.

I know Peter is OP but... too OP. It's like the best character from the start through the middle of the game... tho the MC, Slade, Kazin and Master Monks totally rip the game apart after promotions.

Slade can manage himself after level 25, and that's without promoting him. It's not that bad...

I already beat or got to the final boss in Kingdom Hearts.. I just forgot the story and I wanna play it all over.. plus I can't find the memory card that has my saved file -.-
I also beat KH2, but again.. can't find that memory card either..

The problem with Slade is GETTING him to that point without him getting instagibbed by everything, without neglecting the other OP guys. Like I said, he's weak as hell early game, but once you get him up there, he just starts raping stuff left and right.

Paper Mario, for GC, Golden Sun, Tales of the Abyss (<3<3<3<3<3<3<3) Tales of Symphonia (<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3) aaaaand Kingdom Hearts.

Paper Mario on the N64 will always be the favorite one to me. The soundtrack is SO FREAKING GOOD!
