Hurricane is getting closer and worse for me. In 6-8 hours is it's peak when it's gonna be horrible, I can't sleep though I took a nap today...

Am I worried? I just don't like trees flying when I have two huge ones and flooding and if my power goes out no raid for me Sunday night which I really wanna do...

Hi people. Power's still up. Internet's still up. Minimal flooding in my immediate area. All's good in my neighborhood.

Well... almost.



If you can't tell, there used to be a very tall tree at the upper right corner of this picture. That tree fell on that house nearby. Can't tell if there was any damage though.

Sitting by a window looking out at the street. Poor poeple that have to drive.

I'm so happy my dorm has a cafeteria in it.

What a boring hurricane. I think we've had rainstorms in the summer that were worse than this.

The worst passed my hotel a few hours ago. Boy it was intense rain and sh'it. I also saw a good amount of debris strewn around places near where I'm staying right now. Not to mention plenty of flooding and downed trees in many areas too.

All flights canceled at BDL for today, though. Both departures and arrivals. I was so lucky I flew in last night....

Anyone from North Carolina here? Wondering if the power is out in the Myrtle Beach area--haven't heard from someone down there since Friday.

Lost power last night and it's still pretty windy out. Looked outside this morning to find leaves and branches everywhere. Not that serious it seems

I just slept through what was, for me in NJ, a painless hurricane. No real damage; just flooding in my koi pond. The sum pump kept it from overflowing.
But I'm glad I moved when I was 9. My family in my old home(massapeqia) had to evacuate to my Grandmother/father in upstate.

I was okay in my grammy's house..

But my house.. let's just say my basement is now an indoor swimming pool, come join me

Dear diary,

The powers been out for a near 24 hours, rumor is it'll probably go through most of monday. I'm doing this puzzle to keep my sanity, but I can feel my grasp of reality speeding away. We have no water as the well system takes too much power for our generator to handle. It's blue sky's, not a single cloud, however the sun is beating down on us and I can feel it cooking my non-showered flesh.
