(This post was last modified: 2011-08-02, 10:14 AM by GMSInfighter.)
So I got a few friends together and contacted the students who run TV/Video (School Bulletin) at my High School and they liked my idea of putting a parody of Epic Meal Time on one of the bulletins. Me and my friends, besides one, already have some real shirts by the actual Epic Meal Time and a few ideas, but I personally wanted a few from Southperry, which I probably won't get and instead get flamed but worth a shot.
Some ideas I already have include:
A) making fun of our rival school, which are known as the Sharks (Another school in our district that apparently we have bigger beef with as of late (haha) are the Grizzlies, so that makes things fun too.). Subtle mocking will be parodying the ending thing Epic Meal Time does where they go "Next time, we eat _____" and usually fill it in with something random and I was thinking of either saying "Next time, we eat a shark" or "Next time, we eat -insert schools name-".
That's really my only idea, I have other ones that I think would be funny like having some kind of meat but calling it Shark meat, but I don't know.
So any ideas on what I could do? We're the Cougars, rival school is the Sharks and Grizzlies. I'm looking for things like substitution to Jack Daniel's (Whiskey) cause they use that in all their videos, even something we could make out of eat (cause we're actually gonna buy all this meat. Bacon strips, bacon strips, and more bacon strips. And cook it.), etc.
Doubt posting this at 2:30 AM is beneficial in anyway, but it's worth a shot.
Oh and in case you didn't know who Epic Meal Time was -

You could do like the EMT guys do and make some kind of art with your food. Dunno how good you are at this, but it could be something written or, if you are really good, make a cougar eating a shark =D

It has to have bacon, that's all I know.

It's not so much that it's art what they do, it's just a giant form of different kinds of meat. We have a mascot suit (cougar) that we may be able to get. I'll see how far we can take it so that we can possibly have him shovel a thing of meat into his non-working mouth for funny material.

Got that covered. Thanks.

Don't do this. Those guys are professional chefs and there's a good chance that you will undercook the meat and end up getting food poisoning or whatever else raw meat carries. There's a very high chance you will get sick.

My mom taught me everything I know about cooking and she went to Culinary school for a very long time and owns her own Restaurant (as well as monitors the kitchen management at a school district nearby). Only me and my friend are gonna be doing the cooking since we're the only ones that know how to actually cook. My mom will be supervising everything just in case.
Last year they had this guy do a cooking segment every week for a few weeks until he just stopped because people were bored as hell by it (It was some kid that no one really liked because he was really arrogant with everything) and the school allowed it.
It's not gonna be some thing that we play by ear, we're gonna do everything right. Thanks for the concern though.
EDIT - You don't need to say there's a very high chance that we'll get sick, that's just assuming that we're inexperienced and not right. A simple warning would of been nice, not a direct statement implying we know nothing about what we're doing.

I'd do a repeat of their burger lasagne, but make in the form of a shark, then put like "This is shark weak@@", or something.

We are all like 5'10 and weigh 115 pounds. I think we'll be fine.
S'hit, KhainiWest, I didn't even realize that Shark Week was as of late. Nice call.

made me laugh at the professional part sarah thank you ! But really its better to overcook the meat then undercook.
Shark, bacon, some sort of beverage you should be able to make something out of it id help more but its too early for me to think of anything. You could just watch their videos for a while and see what would be easy to remake using shark meat.

I know what meat I could use for "shark" meat, it was just whether or not that would be a funny idea to implement into the skit. And since the big long running joke would be that we'd be using "shark" meat in our meal, at the very end I would say "Next time, we eat a Freshman. Just kidding, that's cannibalism and we don't condone that.", since I thought that was funnier than the shark idea.
*Update - Me and my group think it'd be better if we did it to our other rival school because we have more of a feud with them in terms of sports and API scores, etc. They are the Grizzlies. Just putting that out there*

Me and my friend have been thinking about this for a while. Just go down to the grocery store, check out the meat section, and let your imagination run wild.

Different meats need to be cooked at different temperatures and when it's a bunch of kids doing it in mass quantities I don't expect them to be checking to make sure each part is properly cooked.
Regardless of what you say, GMS, try to avoid pork products besides bacon. They're very dangerous.

Your patriotism repulses me. As does your food.
Also, make a candy pizza.
