Not so much time as attention.
Well, it takes days, but you really only need to work on it a few minutes each day. The problem is that the timing of those minutes is crucial. You have to be there when the imp wakes (even if the sushi triangles worked they'd only give you a couple hours leeway on that), and if you use clocks you have to be there half an hour after setting the clock.

Worth it, though. I got an 8-slot herb bag from my first imp (well, first that didn't die at level 1 because I had no clue).

When you reset the jukebox it wakes up? Or does it continue to sleep for 3 days regardless (unless you use an alarm clock)?

So are these scenarios possible. I've never used the juke box before.

1. It's at 500/1000 fullness and you use the jukebox. It will fall asleep for 3 days. If you reset the jukebox, it will wake up. When it reaches 1000 fullness, it will level up

2. Same as #1, except it's at 1000/1000 fullness. Also note that it needs to sleep for 21 hours, so will the juke box act as a pseudo alarm clock or will it pretend the 3 days never happened and continue to sleep the remainder of the 21 hours

3. Does the juke box have a cooldown

Your imp shall awaken in 58,494 years, I hope you have a cryogenic tube. Or your descendants like Maple Story.

On another note. this is what I got today from a Brightest Diamond:

1. Not sure if you can force it to sleep without been full.

2. I'm pretty sure that since its only a 3 day bonus sleep time if the jukebox is reseted before the 21 initial hours have passed it would be like nothing happen.

3. Since it doesn't give that big of a boost I think it doesn't.

Well, it works on TF2, mining weapons out of cracked skulls.

Well my first brightest diamond was kind of disappointment, I got this [Image: frantic-pirate-knuckler.png?1309793445] only thing good about it is that is level 60 and gives 64 attack.

OMG OMG OMG! A 64 Attack Glove, sell it for 2.4B mesos but actually only price it at 240M mesos, someone will surely buy then!

Brightest Diamond haul: 6-Slot Bag, Enraged Staff, 50K mesos. I'll probably sell the Bag, all my ores and plates are on a mule and I'll only be hosting 8-slotters on the main. Also, it is annoying how the bag doesn't hold Item Crystals and/or Powders for either type of Bag. I'll test the pseudo-Alarm Clock Jukebox today.

Swift Wrench

Almost exactly like mine, sans Wrench, add Meso Sack. On that note, "100% Chance to Increase max drops to," what? If you ever intend to use it, I'm curious regarding the mechanics of this "rake".

I used it once on a Purple Vein...and out came Lidium Ore and Ore Fragments.

But guess what?

When I picked up the Lidium Ore...

I think the outcome is not just depends on closenesses alone... Might also depends on the character's level (just a guess)...
All my character's IMPs are at 100 closeness, I was expecting all get Sweetest Fruit or Brightest Diamond...
But apparently, I got a Swift Stirge Whip as well, which is only come from "Tasty" range...
Too bad I didn't pay attention on which range of fruit or diamond I got on different characters... (Might look at this next time)
The character that I got the Swift Stirge Whip is a lv. 31...
