Where would one obtain those fruits? They contain Krakian Jungle weapons. Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Grey - 2011-07-11 Orange Imps -> Fruits Gemstone Imps -> Diamonds Which one you get depends on its closeness level. Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Extremely Neutral - 2011-07-11 Dang, thought the fruits were related to the 'Part 5' content. I see the connection though: jungle and herbalism. Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Grey - 2011-07-11 They're not really like, related to Masteria or anything. They're kMS copies of our Taru weapons, no story behind them or anything. Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Chilly - 2011-07-11 So, can we make some assumptions regarding the Fruit/Diamond given out? If it were 10 different rewards then I suppose it would be easier, but something like a 0-10, 10-20,..., 90-100 Closeness corresponding to the better rewards, of course that's just an example. I guess, we can turn this thread into that, but the soonest we'll have data points is in a week or so? Also, while I try to steer this thread into the Imp Information Database, could anyone provide the amount of Closeness and Fullness your "food" is contributing, specifically Equips. I'm throwing Etc. at mine and its 20 Fullness and 1 Closeness. I think we all know they work on a 10 minute cycle and I've heard it is 21 hours of sleep on full Fullness? One last thing, I haven't had time to look for Heart Rocks, but what doodads can you shower your Imps with? I was looking for them in the Extractions, but the section is gone. Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Grey - 2011-07-12 I'd mostly use pounding hearts on them. That way, each thing you feed your imp, regardless of whether it's an equip or etc item will give it 1 closeness with no delay in between. There's 4 items, including the pounding heart, the other three are this onigir/rice ball thing that feeds your imp, I have no idea how it works, the music player thingy that keeps your imp asleep, and the alarm clock that wakes your imp in 30 minutes, which has a 12 or 24 hour cooldown. Also, if you want to determine which way your item will face, which ever corner the item has a blue heart square is the direction the item will face in your item pots. EDIT:~~~ fed it a vifenis axe: 23/765 ->23/785, herp derp? fed it a green heart (148 drop from the guardians) 24/805 Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Chilly - 2011-07-12 iAmFear Wrote:I'd mostly use pounding hearts on them. Are these Heart Stone items, or have I missed an NPC somewhere? Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Grey - 2011-07-12 They have a chance of dropping from any vein or plant, but they're more common from Heart Stones and Gold Flowers. Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Chameleonic - 2011-07-12 How do you even get these things to level? Do they level once closeness has reached 100 or something? Seems like it will take months to grow one...if it doesnt die while you are ofline.
Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Grey - 2011-07-12 You make it fall asleep, and when it wakes up in 21 hours, it will have gained a level. Closeness only affects the final reward. Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Kaasoljoyyx - 2011-07-12 Feeding it only increases closeness if when you go over the closeness bar, it says "Closeness increase Count: 1" Otherwise, feeding it will only give you +20 fullness. Equips and ETCs seem to always give +20 fullness regardless. At level 200, the lowest level etc I can use is level 100. Same with equips. To get it to give you closeness, you would have had to fed it, and there will be a timer. This timer starts over every 10 minutes. If you waited 15minutes before refeeding it, you will only have to wait 5 minutes. I think after 20 minutes though, it won't do this anymore. It can get sick. Not sure if randomly. If you get it to 1000 fullness, it will go to sleep for 21 hours. You can wake it up earlier via the alarm clock. When it's asleep, it's dormant and you can't feed it, it doesn't get sick, and it doesn't get hungry. The longer you don't feed it, it's fullness will start to go down. I don't know the rate yet. I believe once it reaches 0, it will die. The heart pounding item is the fastest way to increase closeness. When that item is facing your tomagachi (that's what i call it, and I'm probably mispelling it), everytime you feed it, it gets +1 closeness (along with the +20 fullness). I didn't have enough of these powerups/things, but I assume the quickest way to grind them would be to keep using the heart item to raise closeness, then when it goes to sleep, you use the alarm clock to wake it up 30 minutes later. I don't know what happens to its fullness when it wakes up, maybe go to half, 100, 69, whatever. A friend of mine got the 6 slot bag already, so not sure how they leveled it so fast, or what even happens once they reach level 2. I don't think it's possible to get the 6 slot bag except for the imps. Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Chameleonic - 2011-07-12 Ahh thanks. I hope they eventually make it easier, it seems such a timewaster. lol Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Kaasoljoyyx - 2011-07-13 More info: Both my imps went to sleep yesterday and when I got home from work, both were awake. One was sick + hungry, while the other one was hungry. Imp #1: Sick + Hungry + 1000 fullness. When I cured it and fed it, it leveled up and its fullness dropped to 0. Its sprite changed and it became level 2 Imp #2: Hungry + 640 fullness. This one went to sleep about 3 hours earlier than imp #1. It also had a lot of heart powerups so its closeness was about 32 compared to 22. Since it was left alone for a while, it's fullness went down when it got hungry. I'm sure if it hit 0, it would have died. Once I got it to 1000 fullness, it leveled up and its fullness dropped to 0. I'm currently gonna raise imp #2 to max fullness again so it falls asleep. These are some theories I have - Fullness levels up by +20 for each equip/etc. I need someone that's lower level to confirm this - Closeness will just make the final product/bag a higher quality (e.g. tasty fruit vs very tasty fruit). Not sure where the cutoffs are but I'm going to only go for 100 closeness - To get the bag, it needs to be level 8. That means you need 400 ETCs in total and you have to wait about 1 week. This is what I need to test next, by grabbing an alarm clock and decreasing the 21 hour wait time to a mere 30 minutes. This will make the entire process doable in a day opposed to a week. I'm still not sure how the rice ball works. I put it on and went zak, and when i came out my imp was dead. Not sure what its fullness was at. The juke box gives you a 3 day sleep timer in case you can't play maple for a while. Most optimal way to raise imps is either imp | powerup | imp This way makes it so you can raise 2 imps and give powerups to each one, but the one you give the power up to will be random powerup | imp | powerup This way is the fastest way to raise imps but you can only do 1 at a time. I think this method is best if you got a lot of alarm clocks. Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - Locked - 2011-07-13 Alarm clocks have a 24 hour cooldown. Imps, Pouches, and Secret Recipe reward list - ShinkuDragon - 2011-07-13 so far, all the etcs i have given the imp raise fullness by 20, gave it an axe and it increased by 100. Unless you mean that the powerups you find are random, so you can't keep applying them to a particular imp. Unless you mean that the powerups you find are random, so you can't keep applying them to a particular imp. The latter. And when I fed my imp a helment, it only got 20, unless i wasn't paying attention. It's just easier to do ETCs anyway. And that sucks about alarm clocks, but i guess it saves you 1 day? Then it'd be best to do either 2 or 3 imps. 2 imps would make closeness easier to get, while 3 imps would mean you have to feed it every 10minutes 100 times. |
