Annoying Message Board Trends

I'm kind of a grammar nazi. I use good grammar but I don't really get mad when others don't. I do get mad when people are talk like this: "wassup. nm u. nm igot a 10atk wg 2day" Seriously, you can't take the time to spell out today? You had to put "2day?" The laziness of some people is unbelievable... I don't post on their topics and rage about it though...

I agree. I can't stand when people feel the need to use "b" or "u" or any of that. How hard is it to type 1 or 2 extra letters? It takes me another 10 minutes just trying to decipher what it is you're trying to say. Our brains aren't really trained to use abbreviations... well maybe just mine isn't.
