Lots of clarification + questions

I am making all my mages (except BAM) herbalists in order to gain empathy faster to increase mp because increased mp is useful with mg. I am making all the other classes (including BAM) some type of miner because I want the acc/avoid boost (mostly avoid since I can't see that acc really does anything anymore) from whatever personality that was that increases as you mine things.

I have heard that the 130 equips to smith are untradable and that if you want to use them you should be a smith on that character (but I don't know if it's really true).

My mules will follow the same pattern as my mains (because I'll go insane if it's different since I have so many mules), but most people who have a couple mains and a couple mules choose the profession for their mules that they did not choose for their mains.

Note: I hate pvp and did not use it to consider what I should be because I plan to ignore it's existence.

Are you HP washed? There are very few instances where additional MP will help MG's effectiveness, if anything, you should be going after Willpower to boost HP to get to the 1:5 HP:MP sweet spot.

The increase in MP is kinda useless, but I found the quest exp bonus to be kinda nice. One of the few free exp boosts in the game.

Acc/avoid in their current formulas are useless in the tiny numbers given by insight. In order to change hitrate at all my Gunslinger would need to gain 63 accuracy. That's not for a noticeable difference, it's for any difference at all. So a minimum of level 35 insight before I see any change in hitrates/missrates. (and at that, it's a 1% increase.)

The extra MP is quite welcome on my Hero. 300 of them finally put her over 2k MP. Extra quest exp is, alas, of no further use to me, but I can see how it would be very nice for people who can still gain exp.
300 MP wouldn't even be felt on my Bishop, though, just as Willpower's 400 (so far) HP don't change my Hero's survivability in any noticeable way.

Insight is pretty useless. Acc/Avoid do nothing (at least in those amounts), and the ability to reveal without magnifiers is nothing more than a gimmick, and takes a very high level of the trait, to boot.

So, it doesn't come into consideration when I choose a character to be a miner. Made my pally an accessory crafter, but haven't really had time to level her professions, or to make any char a blacksmith, so far. Too busy maxing Ambition, Empathy, Diligence and Willpower on my Hero every day. Sometimes twice a day, when they have a maintenance that resets limits, which seems to be every day now...

It's bullshet that Empathy from quests isn't retroactive.

The converse is true for magicians, even though it is obvious, I cannot stress how much I love the extra HP I'm getting right now from Willpower. I suppose archers and thieves are feeling Willpower's love too.

To your second point, I am in total agreement, maxing those each day seems like a chore in itself, but as someone said in another thread, Willpower requires willpower. After getting those done, I don't even feel like training, so I don't, not that it is a problem for you. PvP giving Willpower and decent EXP should alleviate some of that.
