Why do you think I worded it so that Valve and Indies would be exempt? They pretty much are the last people in the gaming frontier.

This is funny since I'm currently rolling for gaming on flash games (which tend to be very good at innovating because they don't need to care [too much] about money) or indie/valve games on Steam.

I sometimes wish we can go back to the old days of where anything goes. If people aren't worried about making money and/or restricted by corporate regulation, they can pretty much create a game that is in their vision. There's a reason I practically stopped paying attention to the over 9000 FPS war games out there: they are all practically the same! At least Bioshock and Metal Gear Solid stick out for amazing storylines.
