Are you participating in Cake vs Pie?

You get insignia when you lose, but it's only 1-5 depending on how many cake/pie pieces you contribute.
I never contribute anything and I always get 1 when my team loses and 6 when they win.

I'm having exams next week, so I can't play much maplestory. The notice only came up once for a battle in Henesys, and immediately I was annoied with the event. I mean, ok they want you to know there's going to be a battle, but why spam it 20 times? It didn't look attractive to check it out at all (so I didn't).

And even then the rewards are so expensive. Put at least one nice item in it that you can get with a few insignas. (Why not the first shoulderpads for 20 insigna's? Is not like they're super broken or something. Or a chair.) I mean... Boxes with only potions in them? TEN power elixirs for 5 insgina's? And then fifty insignas for a stupid mapleweapon? FUUUUUU

I didn't participate in a battle yet, but seems attacking team always wins, which makes me even less wanne participate.

I got 3 80% hp ramens as my facebook event reward and that kinda set the tone... I've barely even logged on.

I'm not even playing ms atm, so no.

- All the events are lame as crap
- Full of exploits and hackers
- Full of bugs
- The server merge never came like Nexon said.
- The whole concept of training in MS is boring and old to me. I don't find it fun sitting on my ass for 5 hours hitting 2 buttons, just to gain 1 level anymore.

It sucks, but yes. Gotta get that chair.

i think a lot less people are participating this time, dunno why i think that though.

but for me, i'm not doing it, it's either VL without magic crash, or miss cake/pie... i'd rather miss cake/pie

I saw yesterday someone with the chair.... the animation is not bad... but the animation speed is horrible...

oh well I think I'll try to get the mount... and I'll make a shoulderpad on chaos patch

I was intending to participate since I skipped the first one because it didn’t entice me. But after seeing the rewards and new set up I’ve decided not to bother again. I have other things I would rather be doing atm.

if you want the chair, might as well just buy the boxes and try and get the damned thing. fricken 200+ insignias for a guarantee when you can buy boxes with the tiny amount you have and at least have a chance for it. xD

At the rate i'm going at right now, and me not being able to be online everyday, i'm not gonna come anywhere close to 200. pls the fact that the stupid random generator thing makes it so that i happen to pick the losing side EVERY SINGLE FRICKEN DAY.

I had the intention of joining the event, because that chair looks kinda neat, but since they kept this "main town" thing, which would pretty much force me to move from my usual training/hunting grounds, I'mma skip this one.

That and I hate the fact that I have to pretty much sit on Henesys waiting for the battle to happen without doing pretty much nothing else. I prefer doing something more active, than sitting down and looking how a bar fills up so I can get up, lag my arse off on a minimap and hope someone on the other team doesn't 1HKO our side.

The only thing I hate is defending, since defense has no chance to win unless the attackers are really weak.

I would participate, but all dualblade skills except fatal blow and buffs are unusable in cake vs pie maps
Also, the green envelope thing is stupid

Yeah, I really don't get why they had to spam the blue text for EVERY channel. If one channel is about to reach the 100% mark, all of them are, so why the hell would we want to see it for each channel that's about to reach 100% in a certain town!?

I did at first, but it's way too boring. Wish they'd bring back the town bosses for everyone to kill.

What are you talking about? You don't have to sit around in the towns, just donate and go about your usual activities, and when the battle starts, you get the invite. When battle is over you get sent back to the main town of whichever place you were before.
