seemed rather convincing to me. Could wz editing do that?

I'm quite sure .wz editing only changes the image. The description and the text of the original item when looted do not change. As seen in that video, it (almost) works the same as the previous exploit.

You don't think that if you can change the picture, you can also change the description image?

The video needs to show the scrolls being produced AND used for it to be legit.

For those who don't understand .wz editing, here's the simplest way I can put it.

See this image? That 100% chaos scroll does not exist. Basically you change the image and description value of an item in the .wz files and it's client sided only.

for the record, that isn't my image lol

You don't need to be talking to an NPC when using packets. He could be spamming the packets so fast you aren't able to see any of the chat boxes.

Still unsure whether to call fake or not. I was going to say 'fake until a video with them turning in x item and receiving y' but that was posted up there so idk what to think anymore.

In regards to .wz editing, I used to work on private servers in the past and I can say from experience you can change anything you see in game through them. The way NPCs look, what they say in their chat bubbles, what their names are, the text and image of any item, anything that doesn't change server sided gameplay.

its fake until someone posts a video of them exchanging an item for white scrolls, and them using a white scroll, or them relogging and having the white scrolls still there

he's spamming the packets, hence the lag.

i believe i saw a picture where stereo had changed the font of his items, that would be up the same alley as this right? also, i am assumming WZ editing isn't really ban-worthy or against the ToS right?

Changing the fonts isn't .wz related though, you just rename the font in your Windows folder that you want to use to the font Maple uses by default

You can easily change your font through language settings under system locale. Example, Japanese languages changes the English characters in MS to look different.

Though, I'm sure there are other ways to change the fonts.

.wz editing is ban worthy, but given that it's client-side only, unless you report yourself you won't really get in any trouble.

You guys still think it's fake since the maintenance solved a 'serious issue'?
