A friend of mine showed me this screenshot (no, he is not the hacker);

Sorry, but this was the only appropriate title I could think of. Excuse me if it has been posted before.

This is just lovely if it isn't an edit.

I'm pretty sure it's the same way as the other exploit. I just knew they used the same damn script.

Seriously... it never fails. This is just the same sh'it, different day.

Things like this make me so glad this sh'it doesn't happen in JMS.

Except there have already been reports about how the old way to exploit doesn't work.

Oh, don't worry, even if it is real since it is not a meso exploit there wouldn't be a rollback even though the markets would be massively flooded with white scrolls. Which actually isn't a bad thing.

I really hope it is.

Else, I think it is safe to nominate Nexon "the most epic failure as a gaming company in the Earth".

It's an edit.
those are actually potions.

Someone else did something similar.

Basically they just WZ edited their client and replaced the red potion image with the white scroll image.

or, clever replacement of things in their inventory with the image of white scrolls in an image editing program.

after all, on their hotkey bar, the amount of pet food doesn't match up with whats visible.

If they .wz edited to change the image, it wouldn't effect only one slot of pet food. Even if they did, it would only change the image shown, not the quantity shown in the inventory. All of the white scrolls shown in that image have a quantity of 100, and there's nothing in their inventory that would equal up to 462 pet food.

Whether or not it's real I don't know, but I wouldn't doubt it in the slightest. If it's real, it's a private hack. Nothing on any of the hack sites I can find.

Red potions, Red potions everywhere

Which is why I pointed it out. It was a discrepancy in the image that makes it instantly suspect.

I would nominate Nexon for that even if it is fake.

Fake. It's already been pointed out that Nexon actually made it impossible to modify the packet to exploit it

Video in that Nexon forum link had me wondering:

Do WZ edits affect the text of the item name when you drop and pick it back up?

Yes..
It's funny, this has been around for ages yet now people seem oblivious to it.

I'm one of those of people who actually don't know how far WZ editing can go.
