They included a file called Mob2.wz - completely NEW FILE. It's 680 MB which is zlib compressed at level 9. This means that the patch is over 300 - 400 MB higher than it needs to be.

There's no guarantee Nexon will change it.
You can either try to wait it out and hope for the best, or use the 24 hours you have before it matters to get it now instead of waiting when everyone else on earth is trying to download the 600 mb version.

Wonder if the new mob file has anything to do with fixing the aggro glitches.

Well they did sort of double their content

Interesting, download keeps failing (or succeeding depending on what I download with) after 18MB. Problems fixed?

Probably, because when i try to download http://download2.nexon.net/Game/MapleSto...0098.patch i only get a 18mb file.

Oh lovely. Does that mean that if I pre-patched with the 666 MB file I will have to re-download the entire client?

Nexon posted a patch for GMS version 97 upgrade to version 98.
