Given that BM had barely any equips on, Elite puppet still hit 17k. It is based off range right?
Spamming this thread right up, so many questions.
edit: skill tables say it is based off range, 350% at max, pretty good imo but similar attack delay to AM summons. wouldn't that make it an extra factor in their overall dps if it could attack the boss constantly?

I really like what they've done with this, but what I want to see is if Puppet still freaks out at bosses and doesn't work if others hit the mob.

I am guessing GMS won't get this patch till sometime next year and with many skills being removed and added, I will try to pass many to be removed skill books as possible to avoid the crunch of finding and paying the high prices of the new books when this patch comes. Guess I will use the next SP reset (during Chaos patch) inconsideration toward the Jump patch new skills and play my other chars until jump comes. This will also allow me to have time to make my 24 atk KoC mule too.

Wow.... this is amazing. I'm really surprised. Archers look so bad ass now.
Also it's good to see ergoth, they needed to bring GPQ back.

Most of these changes look great. I'll miss being able to push monsters around on my Wind Archer though, but I guess Double Jump and a playing style that changes less makes up for it. Choosing which class to make is getting even harder for me than ever with all these changes. Now I'm really wondering what they're going to do with Thieves & Pirates.

If it goes as it happened on Big Bang, Night Lords could still punch stuff with normal attacks, and still can do. Maybe it's the same for archers, but only the bow KB rate works?

Wind Archers lost their Storm Break (super KB skill) and now have this skill called Storm Spike (which looks a lot like Iron Arrow to me, and probably functions the same way as Iron Arrow/Wind Piercing). At least they still have Wind Walk.

No, archers need to be able to do their normal attack and do small amounts of damage with it. They have to be able to break boxes at PQs.

hey maybe jump for thief would be a built-in 40 haste 20 jump and actual haste would increase the cap and give some more speed/jump

then you should hate arrow erruption, it's a flipped-vertically version of arrow rain and makes no sense at all. it'll make sense if they make the marksman fly up then shoot down with great force, creating and arrow erruption(that would be awesome), but no, it's whacky animation
i'm actually not impressed with this update for some reason @.@

That's my only hope... Because right now, Bowmen have ALL Night Lords have, plus more! And by that I mean, flash jump, drain, avenger but hitting more and on a bigger range, avoid with effects that actually are useful (Fake doesn't protect against statuses, and makes dark flare even more useless), provided they have the proper speed equipment, more speed than anyone else, a faster triggered single target attack, DoT or if that got removed summons... 2 of them.
So yeah, basically hoping for something interesting on thieves later on D:

Finally, I've always loved archer classes in games, and this patch finally fixed a lot of the things i disliked about Maple's take on them. I'd gladly dust off my old ranger if i had time for him.
