Hooray!

Considering almost only the US and Canada play American Football professionally, yes, Super Bowl would be the World Cup.

FOOTBALL on the other hand...

Because half of them are busy in the NHL playoffs. Pretty sure European leagues are off at this time of the year.

The still of that video looks like it's from a video game. I thought you were using a recording of a game to prove him wrong.

When did Argentines become divers? I thought that was Italians and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Bahaha, if you saw a PS3 playing PES 2011, yes it looks like the real thing. Totally. I'm not that dumb to prove him wrong with a videogame though.

We agree on CR7. The Spaniards were pretty loldivers in the last WC.

It doesn't matter which is better since it is a fact that only the best of the best of the best get to go to the Olympics for national pride. World Cups are nothing more than big blowhards.

You have to qualify to get into the World Cups first. What's the difference?

Also, what... You're Canadian and you hate hockey? Holy shet. I thought hokey was the sport in Canadia land.

At least the peach is in college. Just sayin.

All those things you listed? Yeah, those are for one thing and one thing only.
Olympic events include the sports for which your listed games contain, and more. If you must, your events would be an S-class event, whereas the Olympics are an SSS-class event. World Cup is SS-Class solely for VUVUZELA HELL.

No man. For all the disciplines I posted and more, the Olympics are ranked below World Cups. I know already that most disciplines included in athletics, swimming and the such Olympics are more important.

Basically my point was that for the most popular sports world Cups or tournaments have become more significant due to the fact they focus exclusively on that particular sport, allowing people to properly judge what happens, because they provide a more thorough development.

And you don't think that an event that consists solely of specialists competing against other specialists in their chosen specialization across a wide number of fields in which one can specialize isn't superior to an event that has specialists of one particular event competing in that one event?

Yeah. Okay.

Yeah. Okay.

You're ignoring the fact that every speciality is awarded on their own. You can get a gold silver or bronze medal in that particular specialty you're competing for.

No one's questioning how huge Olympics are, but how much the award is worth in the field that people compete. For example: Argentina won the gold medal in Athens 2004 in football. We went against only 2 difficult teams in the whole competition, namely Italy and Paraguay. Our team didn't get the recognition we would've got if we'd won the world cup. Even the rules kinda dumbed down the level because only under 23 players are allowed with the exception of 3 above 23 players. How is that the best of the best SSS rank competition? Get my point?
