Still have 40 or so pinks from 4 or 5 days ago and something like 20 pyrope Axes left collected over 2 weeks. Does this mean that no-one should buy anything with anniversary coins until the 16th?

I exchanged about 10 pink scrolls on Saturday, not sure if those will fall under 'exploited' or not.

My impression is that they're only going after primary sources (people who traded arrows etc. for silver coins). And that the "poor decision" was to download a public hack. But it's tough to say.

Poor choices? From what I can tell, hackers made the best choices out of anyone. They got free items, sold for Mesos, got Mesos, probably got some nx, and now given an option to escape Scott free for anything they had left over...-_-

Maybe they have no way of knowing how you obtained the scrolls before...but now they're tacking all the equips so that if you drop/npc one you'll be assumed guilty F555 WHAT A TWIST

I think by "poor decision" they mean those who couldn't resist buying a few - or a lot - of those ultra-cheap scrolls "for laughs" or in the hopes the price will go up somewhat.

Hopefully they're going to ban the actual hack users even if they do ditch their leftovers, but who am I kidding?

Well... a rollback wouldn't have helped either. The hackers have long since converted their gains to NX or real-world money. At least this way legits don't lose a week of progress.

I do not think they will let the hackers free just because they dump their scrolls though. It is probably ment for people that did not really think the whole thing through when they wanted to make an extra buck and bought like 20 for reselling purposes.

It's good that they're doing this and even better that I haven't played in the last week so I won't be effected. I also really like that they didn't give an end time, because they never stick to them. Good job, Nexon.

As in until after the grace period ends on the 15th of May. Event ends in June right.

I also like the bold borderline absurd statement " All players that abused this exploit will be banned [...]." Khaini would be sooo empty if they really did this. I would love them forever for it. xD

If anyone is questioning this on the nexon forums, please ask if previously obtained anniversary scrolls are counted. I have a bunch from last anniversary that I worked for but I don't want to be banned for having them.

Is it even worth risking? How many times has Hime said one thing and it turned out to be something else?

I fucking wish Nexon would learn to make a specific version of each item for each occasion they're available so pomegranate like this wouldn't happen.

I don't favor a rollback. I favor ip bans for hackers and help bans for immoral "legits" who took advantage of someone else's wrong. Junk has gone too far.

yay thanks nexon. You made my legitly gained chaos scrolls from hunting/gold box event from a year a go and made them worth pomegranate AND i can get banned because i gained them properly? Waste of NX.

The 6th Anniversary coins exploit has been blocked.
Chaos scrolls are temporarily unusable and untradable.
6th Anniversary scrolls are temporarily unusable.
All items obtained with 6th Anniversary coins are temporarily untradable and have a value of 0 mesos if sold to an NPC.
Chaos scrolls have been permanently removed from the list of items that can be obtained for 6th Anniversary coins.

Umm... how does what I said conflict with what you quoted from the official notice?

So all of the 'merchants' who bought hundreds of scrolls in the hopes of reselling before the maintenance
now have to get rid of them without being reimbursed?

Those who sold the exploited scrolls before the maintenance can possibly go unaffected by the resolution?

they are a different kind of anniversary scrolls, and my opinion is on the other page, i have 50 of the darned scrolls that i exchanged legitly like stereo, i ain't dropping anything.

I hate how fucking vague they are.
