I already read quite a bit about Homefront; it looks pretty interesting but I'm not a big fan of the FPS genre so I'm definitely hesitant about buying it. It does look like it has a lot more to add to the table than your typical FPS, so I am considering it.

As for Metro 2033, I like what I see. Great graphics and the exposition looks pretty good, at least. Looking at the Wikipedia entry - I like that it's an FPS with RPG elements; I see some that some people compare it to Fallout, but cite that it has much less depth. Which is GREAT, in my opinion. Fallout has a great story but they really overdo the complexity of the mechanics and it just bogs down the game. I don't want to spend hours in each location scavenging through the items scattered everywhere only to find 99% of them are useless, and I don't want to be assigning points to 500 skills and perks.

homefront is made by the writer of Red Dawn dood. He makes war stories. It's supposed to be a 8~12/16 hr. single player depending on how you take the game and what difficulty.

Was asking if you were referring to the Red Dawn starring Patrick Swayze, but was thinking of the wrong thing, I think.
