Pre-Purchase HomeFront, get Metro2033 - Dusk - 2011-02-10 I already read quite a bit about Homefront; it looks pretty interesting but I'm not a big fan of the FPS genre so I'm definitely hesitant about buying it. It does look like it has a lot more to add to the table than your typical FPS, so I am considering it. As for Metro 2033, I like what I see. Great graphics and the exposition looks pretty good, at least. Looking at the Wikipedia entry - I like that it's an FPS with RPG elements; I see some that some people compare it to Fallout, but cite that it has much less depth. Which is GREAT, in my opinion. Fallout has a great story but they really overdo the complexity of the mechanics and it just bogs down the game. I don't want to spend hours in each location scavenging through the items scattered everywhere only to find 99% of them are useless, and I don't want to be assigning points to 500 skills and perks. It's supposed to be a 8~12/16 hr. single player depending on how you take the game and what difficulty.
