You might want to check that again because Shaw's prices are roughly the same in every province, and they all meter now. The only possible mention of "unlimited internet" on their site is the free Fibre Optic trials in Calgary, and Vancouver.

I've never had any issue like that. Did you pay it?

What alternative is there? There's no way for me to show how much bandwidth I'm actually using. And it's fairly likely it's over the 113GB/month that gets the full charge anyway.

I would've threatened them to look into it more seriously or take my business elsewhere if I knew I hadn't used that much. Then again if you were using it for a lot of illicit activity like pirating it's better to just not make a fuss.

Download a data meter? I used to use one, until I gave up since I had no way of knowing how much my mom is downloading. If you're living alone with one computer that's not a mac, you could probably use that.

Every thread is a funhouse thread.

And I doubt they'd accept a data meter as valid proof, considering you can turn them off when you want to alter how much it's reading. Not to mention you could just edit the reading given by the meter.
