I'm at June, with 3 S-links maxed, and with another 2 S-links that are about to BE maxed (Rank 9). I'm going after this one right now:

Ahaha, I just started playing the beginning of this month. This and Hatsune Miku : Project Diva are the only things I've been working on gaming-wise, and I personally have really enjoyed playing this game whenever I'm not at work.
Although, being my first playthough, I haven't really done anything noteworthy. Just trying to get through each month.
Edit: You know, to be honest, the only reason I really went to check this forum was because I noticed your new avatar, and thought there might be a discussion in the gaming forum. Looks like I was right. xP

My avatar is normally based on what I am currently doing at the time, or interested in. Bingo, bingo, bingo~. Good job.
P3P is really interesting, I can replay it several times without getting bored because I always feel like I am missing a piece of the storyline. There's so much a person can miss out on if they don't finish one full social link. I'm glad you're enjoying this game too, it's not that bad of a grindfest compared to other RPGs that I've played. The battle system is really compelling, to me, anyways.

Let me get P3P on my console later and I'll post more.
I've started playing my second playthough as FemMC, after beating the goddamn game at lv 99 and more than 100 hours put into it. I still have to get a lot of personas, since my compendium is at about... 65%?
Trying to finish Crisis Core's missions (at 76% now), getting to rank 7 in God Eater, getting my party to lv 100 in Pokemon Fire Red and going through Cladun: This Is An RPG isn't cutting it. I HAVE OH SO MUCH TO DO ;_;

Wait, I forgot. Did you play 1st playthrough as femMC or as maleMC? Interesting. Also, updating to say that I recently maxed the Hermit Arcana on June 30th. That's 4 maxed S-links so far.

But did you get anything out of those hours? Better be getting Orpheus Telos, son. Or a pretty godly Messiah or Thanatos or some sh`it.

next one spoils the story.
i totally died fighting the reaper last night. I had pumped all my king of sword cards in siegfreid and pomegranate was going well till he used Maragidyne. Dont spoil the end of the story yet though i did get spoiled to what happened to the main character.

Bumping this discussion. For P3P players, what's your favorite Personas to use, assuming you have some favorites.. Also, list their skills, stats = optional.
I'm updating my Personas, currently have:
Quote:LV 99 Messiah
[ Judge ]
St 99
Ma 99
En 99
Ag 99
Lu 99
Megidolaon
Enduring Soul
Salvation
Spell Master
Magic Skill Up
Resist Slash
Resist Pierce
Resist Strike
I have Resists on there because he already resists Fire, Ice, Electric, and Wind. He Repels Light/Holy, and is weak to Darkness. I equip a Ring of Darkness whenever I use him often. Reason I got rid of God's Hand was because I'm using Messiah more like a tank, as you guys can see. Really going to have to change this.. I remember in FAQs and stuff, if you fight Elizabeth / Theodore, and if you have ANY Personas with anything that Absorbs or Repel, she goes crazy and will cast a 9999 dmg Megodolaen. So because Messiah already Repels Light as it is, no point in having Resists. Going to change those for Samericarm, and some other skills that ups stats or something . . .
------
LV 94 Horus
[ Sun ]
St 71
Ma 63
En 58
Ag 71
Lu 72
Mahamaon (insta 1HKO , Holy/Light)
Mediarahan (heals all party members' HP)
Growth 3 (temporarily, gonna remove this once Horus hits 99)
Tetrakarn (repels physical attacks for one turn per party member)
Repel Dark (since Horus is weak to Darkness, this skill nullifies that)
Apt Pupil (increases user's Critical Rate)
Auto-Masuku
Divine Grace (greatly strengthens restorative magic)
Notes: If I can, I'm going to try to get Vorpal Blade on Horus, if that's possible... If it is, I'll have a skill that ups Crit [Apt Pupil], and if femMC is of "Great" status, I'm going to be landing Crits constantly with Vorpal Blade.
----
Lv 73 Cybele
[ Lovers ]
Samerecarm
Auto-Maraku
Myriad Arrows
Weapons Master
Trafuri (this helps so much to escape battles..)
Matarukaja
Mediarahan
Vorpal Blade
Notes: IF ONLY SHE HAS APT PUPIL
-----
Lv 81 Susano-o
[ Fool ]
Brave Blade
Tetrakarn
Arms Master
Stagnant Air
Vorpal Blade
Regen 3
Growth 3
Apt Pupul
Notes: Nice for insta-crit most of the time w/ Vorpal Blade. I wish my Cybele was like this.
----
LV 61 Surt
[ Magician ]
Agidyne
Bufudyne
Invigorate 3
Apt Pupil
Regen 3
Maragidyne (Ice attack)
Ragnarok
Fire Amp

Well, I've finally gotten through most of the game. I'm about to fight the reaper, along with the final boss, and I can definitely say this was one of my favorite games. I actually can't wait to go back and find all the things I missed because I didn't know what to think when I first started playing. Although, I can say I really hate the UMD format now, I can't say how many times I've had to take out the UMD and place it back in to register.

Yeah, I understand your pain, haha. I hate it when the disc loads and you hear that spinning or scratching noise too, it's even more common when you enter Tartarus and navigate dungeons.
First playthrough is probably the easiest, only because you're not really aware of what you're doing, and there's no goal besides getting to the final boss. Playthroughs after that should be hard, especially because you're trying to finish your Persona Compendium or trying to get the right skills set for your Personas. I'm having trouble, honestly. A lot of the combinations I want for skills requires me to de-fuse or purposely weaken my own Personas, etc etc etc.
Basically, imagine having a high level Persona and then having to fuse it with something completely sh`it, and then the combined result being something that's nearly mediocre in terms of stats. Yeah, I gotta do that a sh`itton if I want a Messiah with all 4 elemental attacks. Lemme see if I can find the guide on my desktop:
Quote: can't give you specific recipes, but I can help you somewhat, I hope. This is going to be a very tedious and difficult process to get Ragnarok, Thunder Reign, Niflheim, and Morning Star onto Messiah.
1. Have Surt learn Ragnarok.
2. Check the fusion chart from the Fes section and figure out a way to pass it down to either Slime or Legion.
3. Have Helel learn Morning Star.
4. Use the fusion chart again in order to pass it down to either Slime or Legion. (Requires Traingle Fusion)
5. Fuse Slime x Legion = Orpheus with Ragnarok and Morning Star.
To reduce the noise so Orpheus will inherit both, you might want to use skill cards on Slime and Legion. Orpheus cannot inherit Ice, Electric, and Wind spells, so use skill cards of the sort on Slime and Legion. Get rid of any fire spell except for Ragnarok.
Now for Thanatos. I believe you need many of the Death arcana personae.
1. Have Odin learn Thunder Reign.
2. Fuse it down to one of the Death personae needed.
3. Have Skadi learn Niflheim.
4. Fuse it down to one of the Death personae.
5. Reduce the noise on all of Death personae needed. Use skills cards again to replace skills with Light, Recovery, or Buff skills. Pay special attention to Dark spells, and replace those.
6. Fuse Thanatos with Thunder Reign and Niflheim.
Now to fuse Messiah.
1. Reduce the noise on your Orpheus and Thanatos using skills cards again.
2. Give them Slash, Strike, and Pierce moves to reduce the noise. Light and Dark moves should definitely be removed.
3. Fuse Orpheus and Thanatos together.
Notes: It's very important to reduce noise by using skill cards to erase uneeded skills if you don't want to reshuffle for hours. Spell Master, Mind Charge can be obtained as Skill Cards. I am unsure about Victory Cry.
This. OHHHH THEEEEE PAAAAAAAIIIIIIN.
