Ring issue

This is why I log in and do the quest as soon as I can, to avoid these kind of problems. Of course, I also inform myself of when exactly the next downtime is going to happen.

While I'm a procrastinator by nature, I know unexpected downtime can happen (due to nexon, or my internet provider, or rl taking me away from my comp), so I just get these rings over with as early as I can.

No life mode? You had to sign in once every day to get the ring anyway, how much more effort would it have taken to read when the patch would be? Also this I HAD [MINIMAL AMOUNT OF TIME] BEFORE THE DUE DATE excuse is absolutely ridiculous. I remember people getting really mad about the adventurer rings because they put it off until the last couple of days and suddenly it's Nexon's fault (well, the issues were on Nexon's hands, but everyone had weeks to get them before that) the same applies here. You had 22 hours to sign on and get your ring today. This is entirely your fault, whether you accept responsibility for it or not.

I mean seriously, people had a LOT of time to be able to do at least one ring today. Just freakin' afk and leave the house. Come back, free upgrade. Profit.
Then, people (who missed it) wish they could catch up on previous days. Can't do it? Rant at Nexon and say this is fucking stupid and they log off saying they quit. At least this isn't the Lunchbox event where if you miss a single day, you're effed.

I for one, LOVE this event even though I'm sitting on a level 10 ring.

I didn't expect the patch to be on a Monday, and I care very little about the Resistance so I'd not care about checking when the patch happened. Yes I admit it was my fault for not engaging no-life mode and started leveling the rings at 2 AM in the morning, but it's still dumb; had a good 2 and a half hours before the next day, and now there ain't gonna be a level 17 ring. Level 16 at the most.

I think it's not big deal. PPl will sell many lev17 ring at 23rd. You can buy some, the price will tell you're a wise merch or not.

I think the biggest issue is that if you start at any time before midnight PST, and then do the actual upgrade PAST midnight PST, it acts as if you got the upgrade for THAT day, not the day you started on. I missed 3 rings because of that. Guess we'll be seeing plenty of 16 or under rings for sale.

Im beginning to hate this ring event, mainly because by design, it leaves little to no room for error, or your screwed out of the top ring.

Completely agree with you and your terrible pun. The hour of AFKing is tolerable, albeit undesirable. If they would extend the patch to the 31st all would go forgiven.

It's a matter of dedication this one. If you're going to miss a day, login in the middle of the night to upgrade. If you don't want to, don't complain, because there ís enough time.

If the game was down for a full day preventing anyone from getting an upgrade that day, there would be no problem. No one would have anything better and it wouldn't give anybody any advantage.

my chances of upgrading my ring today are bleak (( i'm stuck @ the happyville map and i can't seem to get back @_@ without crashing.. D:

For anyone that hasn't logged in yet, DON'T GO TO HAPPYVILLE. My alt is stuck there and cant get back without crashing.
