Well, as a person who's doing thisa quest I'm wondering if nesxon will give us back the los day suck as: 7/12/2010, 20/12/2010 and such.
Because this is not our fault that they were having a patch and their time is not fit to all of us and for some people this patch (Rsistance patch) is in the morning untill the night and they night extand this patch alot.
You think nexon will give us the lost days back?

Probably not, unless they extend this patch to, say, 20 hours or more.
Servers were up what, 10 hours on the 12th? Guess they figure that's enough. If those 10 hours happen to fall at a time you can't get to Maple, tough.
If it were some other company, I'd say it's possible they planned ahead of time to extend two days (for two patches), which would bring us up to Christmas day (25th).
But this is Nexon, so... probably not.

And they'd be right. Since the rings are tradeable (at the end) and one-of-a-kind, you have no need for more rings than you have computers. You can keep moving your ring(s) to the character(s) you're currently playing.
They are not obligated to make it easy, or even possible, for anyone to get enough rings to sell.

This is bloody stupid. I was out the whole day, and expected some time to get my remaining 2 rings to 13 today but NOPE PATCH UPDATE SCREWS ME OVER.

I should be able to get my 3 rings to level 17 with no problem. That patch gets over at 11am Est tomorrow for me. That's a 14ish hour window I could still could upgrade my rings in.

I need over 7 hours of uptime to get all my rings to level 17. Should be doable, but probably won't get much sleep tonight, what with patch scheduled to end at 6 PM my time (and likely extended another couple hours). Not that much of a problem, I'll just sleep during the patch, even if it is daytime.

I didn't expect the patch to be on a Monday, and I care very little about the Resistance so I'd not care about checking when the patch happened. Yes I admit it was my fault for not engaging no-life mode and started leveling the rings at 2 AM in the morning, but it's still dumb; had a good 2 and a half hours before the next day, and now there ain't gonna be a level 17 ring. Level 16 at the most.

Im beginning to hate this ring event, mainly because by design, it leaves little to no room for error, or your screwed out of the top ring.

There is no issue so far with this event. Of course you will have to be committed if you want the reward. I would agree if their patch ate up most of today, because then it is no longer in our own hands. I think it is a fun event, but I wish they would not have made them tradable at the end date. Then I could just have focused on the one ring (to rule them all). Now I´ll have 3 for myself if they stack on different levels and 7 to sell. Feels like a choir.

Some room for error, plus, being screwed out of the top ring doesn't mean being screwed, period.
In past events, missing a day meant ending up with a big fat nothing.
This event, you can miss half of it, and still end up with an attack ring! If you didn't know the other rings existed, you'd feel very happy for a free 1 attack 1 allstat ring.

No life mode? You had to sign in once every day to get the ring anyway, how much more effort would it have taken to read when the patch would be? Also this I HAD [MINIMAL AMOUNT OF TIME] BEFORE THE DUE DATE excuse is absolutely ridiculous. I remember people getting really mad about the adventurer rings because they put it off until the last couple of days and suddenly it's Nexon's fault (well, the issues were on Nexon's hands, but everyone had weeks to get them before that) the same applies here. You had 22 hours to sign on and get your ring today. This is entirely your fault, whether you accept responsibility for it or not.

This is why I log in and do the quest as soon as I can, to avoid these kind of problems. Of course, I also inform myself of when exactly the next downtime is going to happen.

> Go do life
> Return in one hour or more later
> Receive upgraded ring
> Continue life or whatever
Not that hard.
