Didn't know they had qualifications to be rude nowadays.

They are literally redoing over 95% of the maps in the game. Does anybody here remember the 23 hour and 30 minute long patch when they added just a few dozen - out of several thousand - for Ariant?

If I can play with no game breaking issues by Wednesday afternoon PST, Nexon will have officially impressed me.



The recent meso exploits where not small glitches. They were exploits. The name "small glitch" implies it is a part of the game working improperly but with little negative side effects.

I'm quite certain the meso explots this year where caused by glitches in the system that would normally be impossible to abuse and at least the donation NCP issue was small and neglectable, but people found a way to abuse those flaws. ( I think this is all I can say on this).

Ahh crap they are starting to trickle over from the other forums now.

Nexon just end this fiasco already so things go back to normal.

They only redid Victoria and some parts of Orbis.

Hmm? I thought they went over most maps with significant changes to footholds and or spawns. Now that I think about it though, a lot of unchanged maps come to mind. The point I was trying to make was that they were redoing a lot of maps. Even competent people would have some issues. Given Nexon's placement on the competence scale, this is not surprising.

Should've just said in the first place "HEY GUYS WE'RE GONNA HAVE A 48 HOUR PATCH."

After extending something like 80% of their patches for over 4 years*, I do not understand why they do not do this. Even if they had really long patches for small things, finishing early every time would make it look like they have some idea what they are doing.

*I did a quick count a few years ago and found 5 patches (out of 40?) without extensions or delays. I have no idea what the count is now, but I doubt it has improved much.

A small glitch is not something that can be fixed with one line of code. It is something which has little influence over the game. Typos in NPC chat are small glitches. A bug that floods the market with money and devastates the economy is not small.

I'm hoping for there to be nothing wrong, that way people can start to cut Nexon some slack.

I'd be happy with the first day of the patch the relese it and let us do the bug finding that we are better at and haveing a patch that night to fix the bugs

Unfortunately, I think we feed nexon cash through their ads every time we refresh their announcement to see if the patch is over or not.

Maybe that's why they annouce 3 or 4 extentions - to increase traffic and ad profits.

Last comment on "small glitches": A disasterous effect doesnt mean the glitch was huge. Even in real life, small things can cause some major changes.

Just say it will be a 24 hour patch and then surprise us with a finished early notice.
