Pear Players,
The big moment has a arrived, the much anticipated Big Bang update will go live tomorrow, December 7th! In preparation for this we will have a maintenace to deploy the game update starting on Tuesday, December 7th at 12 AM Pacific (3 AM Eastern). The maintenance will last 11 hours. During this time all game servers will be unavailable.

I think what they're saying is they're taking the servers down earlier than they usual do for patches, because they want to run a server check before the patch. They're just not good at properly wording their intentions.

So 2 hours earlier than their regular patch times. That's not bad. Hopefully, the extensions (wishing there's none) aren't so long afterward.

I imagine they are grouping both the maintenance and the patch together, 11 hours for a SC would be crap.
