Thats the problem with Events with no margin for error or leeway. There should be some buffer so people are able to get the items even if they cant make every single day. It is a poorly thought out and executed Event.

Why would they cater for a time zone they're technically not a provider for?

Well, if they were up for allowing players with an account to stay, i dont get why they dropped catering for us.

They are basically shunning other timezones that they themselves let play. Id understand if they IP banned us all but they havent.

At least the rings are tradable. You may not be able to get any, but someone else might be able to get a dozen, and sell you one at an exorbitant price. Also, if you miss a day, you still get a useful ring, just a bit less powerful.
That's a lot better than something like the old Lunchbox event, where if you missed a day you got nothing at all, and if you got the lunchbox but had no use for it you could not give or sell it to someone who does.
They are slowly improving. They still want people to make an effort to log in every day and stay logged on for however long it takes, but they are better about providing "consolation prizes" and ways to obtain the prize for money if you completely missed it.

Works out funky for those of us with less normal time schedules in America as well... my normal MS playtimes are 3am-8am EST, which tends to be blocked out by every single patch.

If the patch goes as scheduled you have 16 hours to get that first day completed - so from 7pm on the 7th to 11am on the 8th. As long as you wake up in the AM, you can just get on before breakfast and leave your character on.

Usually quests like this reset at midnight regardless of when you started it.

It's also west of the west coast, east of the west coast, and west of the east coast.

Great, just noticed. The patch is SCHEDULED to be done at 9pm for me. But they will obviously extend it at least 2 hours so I will miss out first day of that stupid ring event -_-

Cause eMS is broken garbage. Only people playing eMS are most of the time the ones that started MS after gMS euroblock.

The biggest benefits i can imagine would be being able to better hold your own against KSers (since your hits are most likely to actually reach the server 1st.)

Faster manual looting, less chance of 'overkill' where you waste a hit on a monsterthat already ran out of HP. and Enemy states like Damage Reflect pop up quicker allowing you to react easier. Also chat is more responsive. Small things but nice nonetheless.

Not sure if delay on skills are affected but i thought that was a client side thing.
