They also did cool things like:
Putting shops in towns closer together for the sheer ease of shopping. Got rid of that stupid corridor in Orbis when going to the boats. Now you just talk to the girl and end up by the platform. They added NPC and Quest information to the Worldmap, making things infinitely easier to locate. They put the job advance portal in ONE place, and it's listed on the map. No more running around wondering "where the hell was the specific portal for my job again?" Reduced the amount of junk required to get Orbis tower scrolls (used to be 45,20,20, now 15,15,15). They changed monster levels in certain areas, making old monsters a challenge again, and other old monsters getting nerfed to end headaches (looking at you jr. boogie). There's a million other neat things they accomplished, but it's easier to be a pessimist, especially when referring to Nexon.

The new location of the Leafre portal is really annoying, especially since the Tree That Grew maps can no longer be traversed with one long press of the "Up" key. Whenever you enter a map you have to walk to where the "up" chain of warp points begins.
KMS doesn't have NLC and its potions, right? Maybe that explains it. They don't go back and forth Leafre<->Victoria quite so much. For us in GMS, tho, this looks like a mean trick to make us buy VIP tele rocks, or storage expansions (for repotting using an NLC mule).

Main reasons I go Leafre->Ellinia so frequently are not in KMS, I suppose.
- CKQ - APQ - Scarlion/Targa (tanks for having a World Tour NPC that can't take you to Singapore, Nexon) I have 20 slots storage and a mule in NLC, it's just a huge time saver.

but i just wish there will be shortcuts between New Leaf City and CrimsonWood Keep or at least add a merchant in CrimsonWood Keep 's Bent Tree
![]() Walking back and forth is really a pain in the ass Eventhough we can go to Lower Ascent within 10 seconds using Phantom Forest Map + Marker of Heroism

Does anyone know of any post-BB training guides? Any class will do, I just want to see what new popular spots arise.
LongShotJohn Wrote:You Lie. 5 Years. 1 Main. Level 130. Mostly a Loner. Minimal Inactivity. Still found things to do. The game is about leveling - you can't argue that, sorry. It's not the only thing you can do, but the basic premise is that you kill monsters and/or complete quests to attain a higher level. They want to encourage social interaction, but that's not a part of the game. What I'm trying to get across is that you can't quantify or facilitate or retard social interaction (well, you can change how they go about it, but that's different). I talk to people while playing Maple, League of Legends, Team Fortress 2, Monopoly, and Tic-Tac-Toe. The game itself doesn't propagate social interaction, we do! You don't have goals like "talk to __ people today!" Stereo Wrote:Horrid as in, "they moved things around without fixing the graphics and now there are a bunch of visual problems in every town". Zenkat Wrote:They also did cool things like: Zenkat's response is pretty good, but I'll add a bit of my own thoughts: Game aesthetics are nice and all, but last time I checked, you spend very little time in town. Maybe you "henehoes" like to sit around all day, but towns are just convenience points for me - I gather quests, buy pots, and use them as beacons to meet people at. The ONLY town that brings any nostalgia for me is Ellinia and that's only because of its unique horizontal design and tree-theme. Walking through Henesys gives me nothing and I've been playing since closed beta. Given a choice between faster leveling, monster level changes, skill changes, and three new classes or map aesthetics, I choose the first one. I'd also like to add that they're not done re-doing everything. Chances are towns are going to get another facelift.

The real towns that got raped are Ellinia and El Nath you know=( I can live with the party quest changes and removal of some stages. You still get the feeling of nostalgia you know.

theres probably a answer somewhere but i couldnt find it.
was there a nerf for the toad castellan(sp), anego and bigfoot? like what is the touch damage for them and exp?

Even if we didn't get SP resets, it wouldn't affect me since I'm Aran and we really get no changes before Restructuring.

It's not like the SP requirements for almost every job changed and without a reset we'd all be up pomegranate creek without a paddle. Yay for only caring about yourself!

I've done the "El Nath Jump Quest" for all my 3rd job advancements. There's a series of pitons in the cliff the Chief's Residence sits on - you can get up to it just by jumping. It's one of the trickier jump quests in the game (purely based on jumping skill, not luck), but for 3rd job I figure, might as well put in the extra effort. It doesn't count for anything but it makes me feel better. And now that's entirely gone. Oh well. Post-BB, 3rd job is not an accomplishment like it was when my White Knight did it in 2006 anyway.

You'll have to dig in the Tespia thread for that, I think, but yeah, all the previously hard-hitting non-KMS bosses are now wimps (as in 2-4k damage max) and at least some of them had their exp drastically cut (bigfoot = 78k exp now).

Well leech was fucked since Big Bang was out. Our pg mules won't be able to hit those bosses I assume, so they're useless now.
