Can someone tell me what the evolution rings do? I know that they get more stats each day you log on, but is that only consecutive days? Will I lose the ring if I don't log on one day? Are the stats worth it?

I have the best plan to prepare for this: I have nothing of value. I saved up ~55 mil to start over, and that's what I'll be doing.

Final ring is +5 Att/Matt, +7 all stats, 150HP, +5 speed, avoid,etc,etc
Miss 1 day: +3 Att/Matt, +5 all stat, rest the same
Miss 2 days: +1 Att/Matt, +5 all stat, rest the same

But will they fix it quick is an entirely different question (and i can see motivation for them not to)

Actually a real contingency plan would not be taking screenshots and documenting your mains. That's borderline panic and an open invitation for people knowing what you have.

The best idea, create a secondary account, get it to level 30 and 2nd Job, and use it the first few days and see if the game is going haywire and actually resetting AP/SP etc. Then if anything does happen to it, don't touch your main until you know for a fact everything will be okay.

I think everyone is being too paranoid about this. I'm sure that if there are problems, they'll be limited to unstable gameplay, i.e., the game crashes or some channels don't work. I doubt your items or SP will disappear.

Can you get more than one ring? Can you have the ring event going on multiple accounts? If you can, do I have to spend an hour for each ring, so if I have 3 rings on 3 characters, I have to be on for 3 hours?

You can do it on any character, but it takes an hour per character, without disconnecting. Which may be tough if they don't fix the client...

Rings shouldn't stack, but might (individually they're one-of-a-kind so you definitely cannot wear multiple 5 atk rings - might be able to do 5+3 though).

the rings will probably be a rehashing of the lilin ring incidents where people could wear level 30, 50, and 70 rings. Then Nexon will come in and say that it was unintented and they overlooked that part of the rings and patch to remove the stacking feature, causing more people to have essentially wasted the effort to do it.

Yes, potential gear does drop in Tespia.

I sincerely hope that your gear losing its potential bonuses was some problem with the copying process back in the previous round, and will not affect us in GMS (since characters are not copied, just stay). Otherwise....

It was probably just erased in Tespia for good reason. Plus if NEXON really did take away all potential many could say they stole the money with the cubes.

So we won't be able to get one on any of the new classes, eh? I guess I'll start a paladin and get him the event ring + the zombie rings. Makes me glad I forgot to get a 4th zombie ring. x3

Same could be said for Monster Card collectors spending on 2x drop. Doesn't stop them from doing it. Sure they'd receive a massive backlash for it, but doesn't stop them from doing it.

On topic: Thanks for reminding me. Been so busy I hadn't logged in at all, so this was a good chance for me to take those SS. Plan on contesting the removal of Monster Book without compensation with these SS assuming it stays as is.

You make it sound like that is the only good reason for Big Bang. Big Bang ruins as many things as it makes better.
