Also, do you have elemental staves or infinity factored in anywhere?
Amp is not affecting DoT.
Elemental weapons are being used supposing you would choose poison/lightning over fire/ice (obviously), not affecting DoT.
Infinity is not factored since it works the same for both mages (does it affect DoT? Haven't heard an answer on this, if it doesn't it will change some things).

I'm pretty sure infinity doesn't affect DoT.
Also, this is assuming the F/P is timing everything perfectly. Right as one skill's DoT is about to run out, he uses another one immediately. And for higher levels, when runs get fairly fast, the 10 seconds or so to initially start up the DoT skills probably take a little chunk out of the running time. Of course, the I/L is ideal as well, but there's less room for error when there's only 2 DoT skills.

judging by some KMS videos, I don't think anything affects DoT other than magic attack (?). But who knows.

I'll see to the implementation of infinity on the calculations (average contribution).
Do consider that the more MDR a monster has the better off is the F/P, so for stronger bosses with 25% MDR we have more advantage.
Also, DoT keeps doing damage even when everyone is stunned, seduced, during super magic def, damage reflect, when moving, using potions, recasting buffs, etc. so we have an advantage there too.
Just a little doubt on how infinity works, at the time you use it, the first 4 seconds you have no bonus damage right? and at 40 seconds you get the 2x bonus, does it last until 44 seconds?

Not sure, but in the end it doesn't matter. Infinity also lasts 60 seconds with buff mastery, with 6 seconds between increases, and it all averages out to 155% damage.
I don't think we'll really know who has the better DPS until we can actually test it. There are way too many factors with AM's damage right now to actually determine who has better DPS.

It's impossible to really know who REALLY has better DPS. Normally we settle for who has the best theoretical DPS.
Me, I'm interested in seeing if both mages are about balaced.

Yeah, basically there's a 4/6 second delay before the first buff, and then the skill runs for the duration stated.
I'm 10x more interested in just figuring out how all my skills work than comparing DPS between the two AM classes.

But then again, DoT has never been used for DPS calculations. When calculating an NL's DPS, it's just TT with some criticals thrown in and that's pretty much it. Any other class won't be attacking at any point when they won't. DoT has a lot more factors, so theoretical DPS can't be as reliably used.

Oh wow, just noticed a MAJOR error in my calculations =P
I was calculating wrong for the I/L, seems like they are actually quite in front of the F/Ps in terms of DPS (about 23% stronger).

I tried to find the error, but couldn't
I was kind of dissapointed to see F/Ps ahead of I/Ls, but it's also upsetting to see I/Ls this far ahead. What happens if you raise the MDRate to PB's 70%?

At 70% MDR F/Ps are 12% stronger than I/L. The turning point is about 56% MDRate.
The error was in how the thing calculated how many chain lightnings the I/L used, giving a much lower number. It's fixed now, I'll post the new table download link soon.

I love seeing that someone enjoys themselves some Excel as much as I do, however, I have mainly focused my expansive spreadsheeting on an intraclass approach to determining the best theoretical DPS I could attain using skills only at an I/L's disposal since I do not have all the SP at my disposal. Your results do bring up some mighty important concepts that I initially missed, especially concerning MDR and for that I thank you.
For your own benefit and not for comparing the classes, I'd urge you to consider adding calculation regarding the summon Ifrit for your own personal figurings to marvel at your DPS. I have come up with conclusions that would posit that an ID/Elquines/CL combination is superior to any other combination of attack skills in terms of damage caused barring any MDR effects and here, there maybe some overlap with what you are doing. Also, at least for an I/L with intention on bossing and limited SP to spend, Infinity should be maxed before any other secondary attack skill. Of course I am working with my own set of variable set so I do not expect my results to be exactly translational. Hopefully, I will get the spreadsheet to a state of coherency and release something akin to yours featuring only I/L combos. Here's to the continued pursuit of a spreadsheet most fine.

Heh, thanks for the comments. This one was made basically to test how efficient the DoT skills of the F/P arsenal were (to know which ones were worth maxing).
It later expanded into a %DPS comparation between the two classes. It's not really meant to be a guide on which skills to max first.

lol, 19% weaker FTW /sarcasm. And I'd be cool with even being 10% weaker, but 19%? COME ON!!! My face is starting to look like the character's in your avatar.

Well don't forget that we get better the more MDR monsters have and the more annoying they are (super MDEF, stun, seduce, reflect and the likes). We also get stronger than them on multi-part bosses.
Even if we are a bit weaker than them we are still awesome =D
