Tespia is Now Open

Yay! One of my accounts got invited. Something to do for the next 10 days, assuming it doesn't crash too much.
Downloading now.

There are a few people who are saying mastery books are reset for Big Bang (meaning we'd have to reacquire them); however they might just be merchants trying to sell their books. I don't know anyone personally who copied their 4th job+ character into Tespia and would be able to test this, but I have heard that they didn't reset in KMS, so I hope that's true for GMS as well.

Is there anyone who can confirm/deny that mastery books need to be used again?

My aran was copied at 132. I got to keep all my masteries up to the book I passed.

example: My overswing maxes at 20 both in GMS and in GMST because I still haven't shelled out enough money for overswing 30.

Pretty sure that only a small fraction of accounts were invited. It may not seem that way from reading this thread, but that's because people who were invited are much more likely to post than those who were not.
I have access to 6 accounts, ranging from active every day with lvl 17x and two 12x's to dead mule accounts. None were invited.

I had never sent a ticket from the account that got in.

It seems completely random.

Since you guys were able to copy your own characters into tespia. If you had decent haste/HB/SE/door do you keep them in GMSTt? I'm wondering if anyone is able to verify that. Although tespia might work somewhat differently from the live server so I don't really know if its gonna run the same way anyways.

I'm not able to copy my character over into Tespia. I remember it on the Tespia page yesterday, but they removed it shortly afterwards I think?

Yeah I remembered this few hours after posting, doesn't change the possibility of any Tespian owning self skill by the time of Tespia first round.

Looks they chose people pretty randomly, once again.

But I surely am happy I finally was chosen.
