Pirates vs. Ninjas Mafia Gameplay Thread - Night 6

Predictable that E6 was mafia and I was right about the second mafia. I am surprised I lasted so long...Either way it was a lot of fun.

Srsly guys, I was surprised that it took everyone so long to figure out I was mafia... lol... Of course, by the time you found out there were so few townies left that E6 and I could basically choose who we wanted dead. :p

Still great game, I liked being the captain afterall, I thought it would be a vanilla role with a kill once polly died, but it was fun seeing my name on the story everyday xD

As sad as I was that Jimmy died so early, I do like that the cap'n and the doctor were the two survivors. That worked fairly well for the story (the cap'n, at least). Next game I run, though, I'll be trying to find a theme that gives me more interesting ideas for kills. And yes, I know ninjas can kill in a variety of ways, but meh. I liked my deaths better in the first game I ran. :3

Invincible? What do you mean? If you're referring to him being godfather, that just means that he detects as a townie, not that he's immune to anything. >_>

The roles were pretty much revealed on deaths/after the last story. There was nothing convoluted or fancy, really. Let's see... Mas was a regular detective, Jon was a regular detective, ChaoticCJ was a regular vigi (3 shots), Kurtle was armor that failed after the first use (so protected from 1 night kill), Ray was the busdriver, Meph and Dark were lovers, although if Dark died Meph had no revenge kill (he was a goddamn parrot, what was he going to do?), Russt was a blocker, Corn was the godfather (detected as townie), Dual was a neutral wordbomber, and everyone else was a vanilla role. I think that's it.

It gave the town a guaranteed confirmed townie, which definitely facilitated weeding out mafians.. even though they didn't really get any after the first one. Just seems like a blunder/mistake as I can't see the logic behind it.

I believe we won because when I died, Thathurts and ElectricSix pretty much became more invincible from lynching.

Why would they kill him when he was the only confirmed townie? Dark was sure E6 and Hurts were townies, and they only needed him to start the accusations to allow for them to swoop in. This way, Dark would never catch on.
