[MSEA] Scopelenz's Review of MALAYSIA
#21
can't be as bad as my experience with the shadowknight off shoots. I got 1 badge in like 2 hours... That's what i call unlucky...

I wish those shadowknight thingys didn't jump... so annoying to kill and try to get badges...

Back on topic: anything look like reasonable exp for higher levels (out of curiosity, can't play MSEA)?

Probably only FTP 1 (for F/P and WKs) and FTP 2 (for I/L mages).

But still, it looks nice, but nothing special. They even ripped off the Cody's Theme Park idea! (is that a Haunted House in the park?!)

Thats kinda true, I reckon Malaysia is sorta ripped off Krakian Jungle (ie. ripped off Shanghai). The backgrounds are simply too similar

Both towns are ripped off Shanghai.A city in the background yet a jungle or forest that we are in

Unfortunately, FTP is not released in MY. The path currently leads only up till HR (Hibiscus Road 3) and thus, I will say HR1-3 are the best training maps for the mid levels now.

Nothing good for the higher levels for the strongest mob there appears to be easily countered by players >lvl90.

The mobs there drops weapons that is -10 level below requirement of normal weapon. Example : Normal Deadly Fin is a lvl 60 weapon, but the mobs there drops a lvl 50 Deadly Fin. The WA is way much higher and it only has 5 slots compare to 7 slots in normal weapon. The bad part, it is One of the Kind Item and Untradeable.

I have a SEA account and was going to try this out... Unfortunately the download always stops at only 10MB done.

Were there any new weapons or something at least? Not including the untradable 5 slot dagger that is.

^ Yeaup, that basically answered your query.

Well, I know this is supposed to be a review, but let me spoil you guys a bit for what's to come.

Note that most of the adventure rides are meant to be animated - but due to the complexity of it, I decided not to do any animations for them (ie lazy). This Malaysia expansion is definitely one of the most animated towns out there. Oh yes, I have shrunk most of the images as well, so as not to cause any forum template disproportion in this thread.

If only we have donator access to the donator's section... I think Fiel posted all of these there. =X

EDIT: It's quite creepy to see the toy lions (what're their names again?) appearing everywhere... ._.

What the... the "Skull House" looks so much like the Haunted House. I sense an expansion with it and maybe another attraction.

Toy lions + Toy rats/bears seem to be the mascot of the Themepark. You can even find them on those bus monsters in the Kampung maps.

Speaking of which, it was found that the cable car map is supposedly link to HR2, and not HR3. This means that they placed those higher level bus monsters before the lower level Rodeos, for a reason! (Since those bus monsters seem to be the link between the black slimes and the lion/rat duo)

=O (Sauce?)

But anyway, then that means HR3 is made to be a I/L Haven for those who can survive those Scooby Doo freaks! =D

Hmmm.. it seems like Nexon has some magic up there sleeves... I think FTP is MSEA's replica of the Taiwan 101.

Taipei, not taiwan.

I don't think the exp ratios are extreme enough to be taipei worthy.
