it's called being realistic. all of this masteria hopefullness has no ground in reality. we know for a fact that nexon hasn't created quality masteria content in over two years. we know for a fact that nxjoe and nxprose who were a big part of the project are gone. we know that, with the exception on holiday content, nexon follows no trend in terms of release date so this "october is the month of masteria!" stuff doesn't fly.

no one can discount that masteria is a possibility because in an evolving game anything is possible. but wishing and hoping isn't going to make it so. it will either come or it won't and right now, there's more evidence leaning toward it not being any time soon if ever.

OK the "October is Masteria Month!" was a joke. Anybody could see that. Second, it hasn't been two years it's been one. CWKPQ was released in 2009. There is NOTHING saying that Masteria can't come back and right now your just being a little ass. NEXON can spring it on us at anytime as a "SURPRISE!" sort of deal. We can hope and wish all we want and you can't tell anyone here that we can't.

when i was little we used to go to disney land every summer. we'd go any time between early july and end of august. then one year we didn't go. the next year all i heard from my little sister was "i can't wait to go to disney land!" my parents took us out to various events that we didn't used to go to but it was pretty obvious to us older kids that disney land wasn't happening anymore. we tried telling little jane that we wouldn't be going to disney land as nice as possible but she refused to believe it. september came and she was still convinced so we tried to explain it to her like an adult and she reacted pretty much the same way you just did. i think in her heart she knew that disney land wasn't happening but she couldn't let go because it was so much fun when it did happen.

it's okay, swordstaker. we might not go to disney land anymore but we'll still go to baseball games and water parks. maybe some day in the future we'll revisit disney land for nostalgia but this summer there's still no hint of it. our parents seem to really be into trying out new things. it's not a bad thing.

The hell are you saying? This is completely different. Do I KNOW NEXON isn't going to produce anymore Masteria content? No I don't and you don't either. I said I'll let it go if after 2-3 years there hasn't been ANYTHING. It's been 1 year, 2009 gave us CWKPQ and HH2.We still have October, November,AND December left to go through. Your really making no sense with your Disney to Masteria comparison, theres a HUGE difference.

having that one little gap of hope keeps some of us attracted to the possibility of a better game. granted all games eventually run out of juice and turn to crap, but hope is something we can't just let go of that easily. Until they say we're not doing anything anymore, we can all hope that maybe, MAYBE that next patch will give us Masteria content. Liken to your Disneyland analogy: you may know that this year you didn't go, but there's always hope that next year we might go to Disneyland.

i stated specifically that giving up hope is pointless, but sitting there obsessing over it like jane did, like swordstaker does, is not only a waste of time but a waste of energy. if we end up going next year then great, it will probably be enjoyable. but based on everything we know, expecting to go is foolish.

a lot of the time reality isn't pretty. people look at these things negatively because it's not what they want. moving on from masteria isn't a negative thing, anyway. chances are nexon wouldn't do it justice with half the team gone anyway. they're now focusing on other things like episode 1 and the visitor event because that's what their current team has the capability or a passion for.

i would love to see a good masteria expansion just as much as anyone else here but for now there is no sign of it, nor is there any reason to believe we will see one any time soon, especially after we just recieved a semi-exclusive event and are expecting big bang within the next two months.

my analogy was less about masteria and more about swordstakers attitude toward the situation. he, and many others, seem to be in denial about the state of masteria. the same thing happened when neo city came out and everyone expected neo tokyo for no real reason.

each time nexon doesn't release masteria it's just going to breed more negativity, too.

so really, realism = tranquility. no expectations mean no hurt when you don't get what you want.

All your proven to everyone is that your a pompus little ass. AGAIN I say there is NOTHING saying that Masteria cannot come. All my attitude is that I believe it'll come one day again. Why? Why the hell not? Just because theres no sign of it means NOTHING. I'll use your Neo City analogy. If anything I would have loved for Neo Tokyo to come, but Neo City came instead which meant nothing to me. All it meant was yay a new area! But as I have said time and time again there is NOTHING in this god given world to say that we WON'T get Neo Tokyo too, just like Masteria.
Heres the facts:
1)Theres no reality here
2)I'm not in denial
3)Your an ass
Every post I see from you is just negative and down right like your on your period. Heres what I suggest to you, say NOTHING if all your gonna be is a negative ass.

Anything Nexon does breeds negativity, not just the disappointment of nothing new from Masteria.

How people respond, or in your words, "obsess", isn't really any of your concern, nor should you try to control what they feel. If you'd rather feel the way you do, then go for it, but trying to force your lifestyle on another isn't realistic.

You have your opinion, they have their's. Leave it at that.

This is pretty much it. No passion, no motivation, no desire, very little work.

I've decided to just take a seat and enjoy the show, instead of looking over my shoulder every now and then to see if Masteria shows up. If Masteria doesn't show up, I'm still enjoying the show. If it does show up, it'll lightly tap me on the shoulders and I'll go grab a beer with it, even if it has cuts and bruises.

it is my concern because half of swordstakers posts are about how we'll get masteria next patch and the guy responds to nearly every post in nearly every topic.

there, i've finally done something to earn being called an ass rather than just saying something he doesn't like. this will be my final post in this topic because i'm not looking for a flaming infraction, i was attempting to clarify the reality of the situation but it's clearly not going to happen.

Whats wrong with me replying to things? Got a problem, don't come on here or read my posts simple as that. Never said it was coming next patch or any patch for that matter. I have hope and thats all. If you would please don't read my posts again. Unless you have some sick love obsession with me since you reply to them all.

It seems you're also living in a fantasy world where everyone is supposed to see things your way. If he chooses to have a happy-go-lucky attitude, let him. How if affects him in the end is for him to deal with.

And to clarify, I'm not flaming you. I'm having a discussion, unless you were referring to Sword. What you find annoying is also an opinion. The reason I responded to your posts this way is because I find your "reality check" annoying as well because of the way you choose you express it, because it does seem more like pessimism, as someone earlier stated. Reality is harsh, but not always "woe is me".

Good night.

Weird. I said the same thing as Polka but with different words and you decide to attack him/her.

Come on, man. It's time to face the music, you ain't getting any younger and Masteria ain't coming any sooner.

Big difference in tone and just the way it was worded.

I have hope and thats all I can really say here. I believe it'll come. If NEXON taps out and says it isn't I won't like throw a tantrum and whine. No I'll accept it and look forward to what else comes. I mean yeah at one point there is a time when we should all say its over, but as I see it, CWKPQ came last year, so did HH2(You can argue it's not, and in a way its not in a way it is) still the fact its been a year, not YEARS. What I'm just saying it, I believe it'll come but not so stubborn as to learn theres a point where I'ma tap out and say "It's not coming."
