Trust us, we have that language as our first. And yes, Loose is right. The keyword is "lo".

Not necessarily. Sometimes it gets switched around but it's the pronouns that determine what the sentence actually means.

Se lo comio el Arbol Logico. <=> El Arbol Logico se lo comio (in the order that we're used to) <=> El Arbol Logico se comio a Kirby.

That's how I think about it. (I must sound like an idiot to native speakers. lol.)

He's using a kinda special form of speech. ''Se lo comio el Arbol Logico'' would make sense if you thought it this way: It was eaten by the Logical Tree.
