Sometimes it gets switched around but it's the pronouns that determine what the sentence actually means. Se lo comio el Arbol Logico. <=> El Arbol Logico se lo comio (in the order that we're used to) <=> El Arbol Logico se comio a Kirby. That's how I think about it.
